Extended across the new contract, yes.

(With a limit of 5 years from the date of extension, after Chelsea’s shenanigans).

We have zero PSR issues this year,
We have an additional 30m prize money that won’t have been budgeted.

I'd be very surprised if we offered another 3 players big contracts this season with all the agent and signing on fees although i'm sure if they want to stay long term their agents will be knocking on the door.

Wood remains rooted in the forest.

I think getting Danilo and Sangare back is going to be massive for us.

Just concerned how long it is going to take them to get back up to speed.

Danilo maybe although I agree will be tough to get up to full speed to break back into the team barring injury.

I think Sangare would only have an impact if three of Anderson, Dominguez, Yates and Danilo were all injured.

I dunno I think Nuno rates Danilo and Sangare highly which is why they were his first choice pairing at the start of the season.

I think he will start them over Yates and Dominguez but they have to get up to speed first.

Exeter in the cup will probably be a good game to start them in if they are fit enough.

I think a lot has changed since the start of the season! Plus Anderson is clearly the best of the lot so he'll be the starter above them all.

Yes I agree with you on Anderson.

I would imagine Danilo is now backup to Anderson and Sangare backup to Yates/Dominguez.

I guess the question is could Danilo and Anderson play in that two or is that too attacking?

RE: Current Players Thread - Redreg - 30-01-2025

I think Danilo and Anderson could be a excellent CM pair and one i am very excited to see , they are both athletes , great ball carriers , excellent passing ability , dribbling and good in tight spaces , interception and tackles and have goals in them . Danilo is kind of a Hybrid 6/8 and Ando is a 6/8/10 rolled into 1 and MGW 8/10 i really think this suits our current style of play but Danilo is also better on the ball than Yates/Dominguez/Sangare and has the Fitness that JWP doesn’t.

RE: Current Players Thread - Reds73 - 30-01-2025

Danilo and Anderson are certainly the players with the highest ceilings.
Another option is Danilo and Sangare with Anderson in the left channel
