Honest answer, dunno. A side free of pressure is sometimes harder to beat. Exactly! They are free to experiment to some extent, try things they daren't risk whilst being under pressure! Plus if they start winning a few games, then they will want to keep their winning streak going. I hope they start winning as they're playing everyone else down there! Palace were never in danger anyway. They'll be well safe. Everton, Southampton, Bournemouth and Wolves are the teams to watch most right now in my opinion RE: The Premier League 2022/23 - nffc93 - 02-04-2023 Brendan Rodgers sacked RE: The Premier League 2022/23 - Mcforest - 02-04-2023 Shame he was dragging them down. Going to be one to keep an eye on now. RE: The Premier League 2022/23 - nffc93 - 02-04-2023 West Ham winning RE: The Premier League 2022/23 - wassy04 - 02-04-2023 It means us and West Ham the only teams not to change coach in bottom half of the table. I've just got this feeling Coops will he gone when we lose to Leeds. Really hope not, owner needs to hold his nerve. Whichever league we're in there's not going to be a better option and he deserves the time to coach. We've never had a manager with this level of fan support in my lifetime, don't waste it, it's very rare. I suspect that EM will think this through very carefully but, for me, what goes against Steve is his insistence on changing the plan when we have been superior to the opposition and gone ahead. I think that it says to the opposition "throw everything you've got at us - we'll hold you off and maybe even score from a breakaway". This rarely works and reduces our confidence. We had Wolves on the run but instead of dominating we retreated. This has happened too many times this season to be just bad luck that will change and we climb the league. I don't like it and I think that EM doesn't. Fulham, Bournemouth at home the exact opposite happened. We could see it wasn't working, he kept things the say and we collapsed. So he can't win, can he? RE: The Premier League 2022/23 - Fumanchew - 02-04-2023 Mutual agreement at the bin dippers, will it just be his assistants to carry on till end of season? Then when they know which league go for an appropriate manager? |
