RE: Sheffield Wednesday - Nottingham Forest - wassy04 - 18-06-2020 Interview suggested Sow still has the same issue to manage, feels like he missed the surgery window now with no summer RE: Sheffield Wednesday - Nottingham Forest - GaribaldiRED - 19-06-2020 I clearly heard in the interview yesterday that SL said that all players were available except for En-Neyah. RE: Sheffield Wednesday - Nottingham Forest - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 19-06-2020 Reading between the lines I suppose what it means is that all the players are available but at different levels of fitness. RE: Sheffield Wednesday - Nottingham Forest - Derby My Arse - 19-06-2020 It sounds as if Watson had a genuine injury and that it was nothing to do with contract issues which I would say is a positive. I am sure he will play tomorrow. RE: Sheffield Wednesday - Nottingham Forest - GaribaldiRED - 19-06-2020 That would be my take on it as well. At least nobody is injured. RE: Sheffield Wednesday - Nottingham Forest - the jock - 19-06-2020 Sow trained all week. Sounds like hes another Ledley king to be honest and will just need to manage his injury as best as possible McGuane impressing allegedly RE: Sheffield Wednesday - Nottingham Forest - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 19-06-2020 (19-06-2020, 09:55 AM)the jock Wrote: Sow trained all week. Seems like it's the same problem over and over again with his knee. RE: Sheffield Wednesday - Nottingham Forest - GaribaldiRED - 19-06-2020 You are probably right although he has been able to rest it a bit during this COVID break. Maybe it will last for the remaining 9-12 games. RE: Sheffield Wednesday - Nottingham Forest - the jock - 19-06-2020 Largest Number of games sow has played concurrently per season 14/15 - 8 in a row. Missed 15 through injury 15/16 - 6 in a row. Missed 18 through injury 16/17 - 14 in a row . Missed 8 through injury 17/18 - 11 in a row. 7 missed through injury 18/19 - 6 in a row. Missed 8 through injury. Many unused sub games RE: Sheffield Wednesday - Nottingham Forest - audiosmee - 19-06-2020 (19-06-2020, 10:35 AM)the jock Wrote: Largest Number of games sow has played concurrently per season I guess this is due to the way he plays- he is explosive and aggressive so he’s likely to get knocks- he’s also a target to other teams too shame- although if he was an ever-present style player he’d be playing at a higher level. This is the pond we fish in... ? RE: Sheffield Wednesday - Nottingham Forest - GaribaldiRED - 19-06-2020 He definitely has some injury concerns. It seems like he has played on average between 50-70% of the games per season. He has played 18 games this season which is bang on 50%. If he had been pushing 100% then I would agree with audiosmee that he would have been playing on a higher level. RE: Sheffield Wednesday - Nottingham Forest - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 19-06-2020 So we can have 7 on the bench, make 5 changes but only 3 stoppages for changes are allowed. So 2 of the changes will have to be double substitutions. Is that right? |
