The difference being Man City are easily capable of stringing 5 or 6 game winning sequences together.
Our lot struggle to string 5 or 6 passes together.

I got the link from a fan group I'm in, it was interesting to see the spread of predictions, there was quite a wide range, although my favourite was one supporter I know who was complaining that it took him 3 full goes to get Derby relegated from his predictions.
I've just input every score to see my final table, I was definitely biased towards the top 6, considering 6th place got 80 points... but I got WBA winning it by goal difference over Norwich, both on 97 points (WBAs win over Derby on the final day secured it, also knocking Derby out of the playoff places!) Leeds 3rd on 94, Sheff Utd 4th on 89, Boro 5th on 80 and Bristol 6th also on 80. Forest 16th on 57. Reading just managed to stay up on final day thanks to us righting last years wrong and beating Bolton on final day to send them, Rotherham and Ipswich down.

I got quite a different top 6 order to yours, & with slightly lower points for 2nd to 6th, with 6th finishing on 76pts, I think.
Optimism & pessimism plays in to it too, your 57pts prediction for us is the lowest I've seen, & I hope pessimistic, I've also seen a 79pts prediction for us, which I'd suggest was optimistic.
West Brom was my surprise outcome, without the predictor I suggested to someone the other day I thought they'd sneak top 2, so I was surprised that after using the predictor I had them finishing 5th.
Of course football doesn't conform to predictions, so when Wigan pull of a surprise victory against 10 man Middleborough this weekend, or something equally as unexpected happens, both our sets of predictions will have gone out the window

Yeah mine is definitely pessimistic but that's how I'm feeling at the moment. I struggle to see where the points come from over the next 7 games. I actually have us losing the next 5 which including Birmingham would be 6 losses in a row, no idea when we last had that poor of a run.

I agree with you that things don't seem very rosy
Anyway players coming back from injuries and suspensions, everything starts to slowly gain momentum, assuming we hit top gear turbo on amphetamine and win the last 10 games we don't have to expect too much from the next few

Any team can win 4/5 games on trot. Hull proved it, Millwall last year.

That's the beauty of the Championship.
However, Forest have strung together 3 wins all season(?) let alone 4/5 needed for a genuine promotion push.
