Thank God it didn't look like a distraction to the players and staff against Porto who absolutely lapped it up and loved it.

Some significant differences with Palace. We are into our third manager this season with changes in playing style and preferred personnel that goes with that. They kept with the one manager. Their performances were improving and ours are going in the opposite direction. The performance at Bournemouth was in my opinion at least as bad as the thrashings we had at Fulham and Leicester under Cooper and also this season the promoted clubs are much better than those that went up the previous season making it much more competitive. If we don't embrace the Euro run and just care about league games, it'll be a pretty depressing season!

I agree, what's the point of working so hard to qualify to not take it seriously just because we've had a bad start. 

It is worth noting we've had the three hardest EL games already so perhaps we won't need to be playing as strong a team or even if we do be putting in as big a shift if we are controlling a a game. A lot went into that Porto game.

We were S**t under Nuno in the past few games of last season.

Liverpool are an example like Forest that when you buy lots of new players it takes many games to get them integrated, and in that process your form and results drop badly.

We will get there........it takes time.

We will finish easily mid table.

All this panic posting is just attention seeking...........nothing more.

I wouldn’t be against having a different team we play on a Thursday but its very difficult to do effectively, Man City for example rarely rotate their team. Does a team of Kali, Bakwa, McAtee, Yates and Sangare get the same result? Probably not and there goes your European excitement. The other factor is that a positive result whoever its against breeds confidence. Getting beaten twice in a week definitely doesn’t. As you can tell I haven’t a clue myself what the answer is.
