RE: Crystal Palace - Nottingham Forest - Plymouth red - 05-05-2025 I'll take the point and it means it is still in our hands. It may look unlikely but we win our last 3 and we will be top 5. Furthermore, with Bournemouth 8 pts, Brighton 9pts and Brentford 9pts - we aren't mathematically there bit would take a set of results to make that a thing. Bournemouth have villa and city next. Let's hope we can get the job done for Europe against Leicester and then maybe the players will relax a bit. Plus as much as I don't want man city winning the fa cup... it would help us out if they did RE: Crystal Palace - Nottingham Forest - JWJW - 05-05-2025 Before the match Crystal Palace were brilliant and going to win the FA Cup... So a point away is not a bad result. Don't understand using Sosa... He offers nothing. He has to go in the Summer. Sangare was much better than Danilo has been. We need Elamga and Aina right side together. Newcastle draw with Chelsea and we beat Fester and life is good. We are lucky to have got anything out of that game. We have to be winning. We look so clueless going forward and now our defence is leaking goals and chances. I’ll help you We are 6th Earned a point which may be crucial at the end of the season Battling performance deserved a draw Matched a really strong team away from home Came from behind in the game Stopped our losing sequence, gets confidence back for the crucial last 3 games. Do you want to have a go? Its fun. We have always been a tough watch away from home, just got a lot of lucky breaks particularly mid season. No the criticism isn’t justified. RE: Crystal Palace - Nottingham Forest - RyanR - 05-05-2025 Poor Wood must get driven mental by referees. He never gets fouls given his way. Could have had a penalty from Munoz in this game and was taken down on the edge of the box by Nathan Collins against Brentford and was given nothing. Added to that, any time he goes for a header or there’s the slightest bit of contact and fouls are given against him! Thought Sangare did well, kept the ball moving, quick passes forward when he could, battled well. Gets abuse when Wood, MGW, Elanga, Dominguez were all absolutely useless. Easy target I guess. Thought Sangare did nothing personally, obviously can't see what he's doing off the ball from the tv. Kept underhitting passes and some of his clearances were pretty ropey. Also, pretty lucky to avoid a red. Each to their own though! RE: Crystal Palace - Nottingham Forest - Plymouth red - 05-05-2025 (05-05-2025, 10:09 PM)Mist From The Trent Wrote: Anderson motm. In all fairness I think the issue is twofold. 1) players like mgw, elanga and wood have credit in the bank based on there season so far. Plus they are goalscorers and creative players who we pin our hopes on to win games. Sangare just doesn't have that 2) sangare cost a lot and hasn't really lived up to that price tag. There is a good player in there but for the amount we paid, we haven't got our monies worth. Normally a point away at palace tonight is excellent, especially after going behind. But we need wins now. We're up against the big boys at the top. We need wins. RE: Crystal Palace - Nottingham Forest - Paplane - 05-05-2025 Hughes was excellent for them when he came. Such a shame we don't have someone like him to turn a game. RE: Crystal Palace - Nottingham Forest - Paplane - 05-05-2025 Steve Cooper reckons it was a decent point and it's still on. RE: Crystal Palace - Nottingham Forest - Salvatore Matrecano - 05-05-2025 Thought Sangare did Ok, not great but Ok. Yes he was lucky not to get a second yellow but the ref made ul for it by waving a yellow at everyone else in the team. MGW poor unfortunately. Overall we battled really well though, yes Anderson probably MOM. RE: Crystal Palace - Nottingham Forest - BadDog - 05-05-2025 Murillo will be fine they reckon on Sky. Will be fit for next weekend. |
