RE: Nottingham Forest - Manchester City - Sausage Roll - 27-04-2025 Obviously disappointed to have lost but heartened with the way we played in the second half. Perhaps we could've started the game with CHO and Elanga but if we concede within two minutes then what difference does it make? They played the big moments better. We let in two really poor goals and missed two really good chances. Also very unlucky with MGW's volley and Awoniyi's reflex flick which both hit the post. Kovacic magnificent for them. Looks a much better player than he did for Chelsea. Another day we could've won that. A lot of 'what ifs?' Everything into the last five matches now. Top three is still in our hands. RE: Nottingham Forest - Manchester City - Fumanchew - 27-04-2025 Elangas miss a real sliding doors moment in game full as you say of what ifs 3 hits off the wood work Having aina would have let us start as we usually do this team can cream Brentford Leicester and wham RE: Nottingham Forest - Manchester City - Paplane - 27-04-2025 Wasn't our day today for a few reasons. We need to keep our heads high amd f*****g smash Brentford on Thursday now. RE: Nottingham Forest - Manchester City - Floridared - 27-04-2025 We all knew it was going to be a big ask. Well played lads. Im rooting for Palace in the final. What ever comes at the end of the season its been brilliant. What's happening re the City points deduction?. Big game against Brentford. We will respond, play fantastic and put 3 past them then the proper cup final the Monday after against Palace. RE: Nottingham Forest - Manchester City - Paplane - 27-04-2025 At least we had a bit of a go in the 2nd. Hopefully it means today won't be a confidence sapper. RE: Nottingham Forest - Manchester City - Fumanchew - 27-04-2025 With all those off the post and elangas miss they’ll know they did enough to get level with better execution, use this as fire to end the season as we mean to in the top 5 RE: Nottingham Forest - Manchester City - pennhillred - 27-04-2025 Terrible first half. Much better after the break. If only Elanga had taken that chance. What is it with us missing equalising opportunities and then conceding to that lot??? RE: Nottingham Forest - Manchester City - DeesideRed - 27-04-2025 Said it last game. MGW really needs to start taking chances and scoring goals. Golden chance RE: Nottingham Forest - Manchester City - Paplane - 27-04-2025 (27-04-2025, 07:07 PM)DeesideRed Wrote: Said it last game. MGW really needs to start taking chances and scoring goals. Yep, if he adds 8 or goals to his game a season then he's looking very special indeed. RE: Nottingham Forest - Manchester City - Sausage Roll - 27-04-2025 The volley was very unlucky. The other chance he probably should've put away. RE: Nottingham Forest - Manchester City - wassy04 - 27-04-2025 I'm sad, I regret watching the highlights. It looks worse than it didn't in the stands. Frustrating that we'll never know what kind of game we could've had, happy we didn't get mullered after that start/team news. Despite the loss, I got the bug. More Wembley trips please! RE: Nottingham Forest - Manchester City - Forest1970 - 27-04-2025 Got to be honest and say I'm not particularly upset about losing today as everything we're doing at the moment is more unexpected than anything else for which I mean our league position and our run in the FA cup so I say onwards and upwards to a better league position starting against Brentford. Happy days |
