Just want to point out that Elanga’s corners first half were very good and our most consistent creator of chances. That said the rest of his contribution was largely ineffective.

I suspect that Jota will come him for him on Friday and rightly so.

Murillo is a concern for me, the number of unforced errors he makes are too high for him to play at a higher level than he is now.

I see that there is some criticism of brining on Williams and Morato but it was much needed with Mateta replacing Nketiah. Moreno was struggling to move freely and we needed some strength to compete with their beast of a centre forward.

Agreed about Murillo. I actually think it was his worst game for us. Not quite enough on any of his passes and got skinned by Nketiah. That said, he’s very raw and still improving. Moreno also was sloppy in possession at times tonight

Pessimistic opinion I know, hope I’m wrong, but we are a shadow of ourselves without MGW and I yet to see what Dominguez offers in any capacity, the game will pass him by and we’ll be trampled in midfield (Yatesy can’t do it all).

With Dominguez on (albeit forced) and MGW out I just can’t see us making any real impact on this contest.  Sadly I am highly confident I will be proven right come FT. Praying I look a pillock for saying this!

You look a pillock saying this.

Well done Forest, not easy on the eye at times but a win is a win without quite a few of our better players.
Agree Elanga was wasteful but would still start him on Friday. Jota looks really good when the game is stretched at the end, keep him for that else there is little threat. CHO maybe injured anyway?
Anderson was superb.
Thought the subs were spot on at the right times, don’t understand why anyone would criticise them.
Chris Wood is an utterly superb professional.

RE: Nottingham Forest - Crystal Palace - JWJW - 21-10-2024

Good win.

Moreno and Murrilo both very sloppy today.

Palace have a good defense so was expecting a bit of a stalemate.

RE: Nottingham Forest - Crystal Palace - The reds - 21-10-2024

Good win. I’d say we deserved it. Yes Hendo probably should’ve saved it but we had some great chances. Sels made 3 great saves. Thought we controlled them after we scored. They didn’t create many clear chances. Good subs also. Jota was terrorising Guehi. Sosa and Williams worked well when they came on.

The type of games you need to win in the Prem as these games account for 50% of wins I would say.

Onto Leicester - going to be good. JWP and hopefully MGW are back. Fresh legs in midfield needed.

I hear samba was in attendance to see what a world class goal keeping performance is like… (jk)

No complaints or criticism from me.

That was a very professional performance and I thought that we controlled and saw the game out really well at the end so I don't understand the criticism of the subs.

We are eighth in the PL and should let that sink in.

RE: Nottingham Forest - Crystal Palace - Forest1970 - 22-10-2024

Seems to me that if we didn't use any subs people would've moaned just the same. Seems our game management isn't up to some peoples standard but my personal view is that the subs were used at the right time and the result proves that.

RE: Nottingham Forest - Crystal Palace - nffc93 - 22-10-2024

Was very surprised with the attendance last night. I was fully expecting over 30k. But it was 29.400.

Brilliant result with some cracking performances. Who knows where this season could take us if we can stay injury free and maybe get a striker in Jan.
Just a hunch but i think Awoniyi will be gone in Jan. Is he playing to not get injured at the min??
