I was just about to say the same if it was reversed we would have to kick off at 5 so they could have their w*nk fest. And did you notice that our match wasn’t on the ‘Main Event’ channel until the second half? They had Arsenal vs Man City women on the main event channel until it finished. You say that, but I won’t be watching. I’m really not interested. I’ve watched a really good match of football for the day and I’m not interested in their sideways passing hype festival. RE: Brighton - Nottingham Forest - The reds - 22-09-2024 Fantastic point. Clinical today when we had chances. But the ref and the rest of his team have absolutely ballsed it up. RE: Brighton - Nottingham Forest - Chicago - 22-09-2024 2-2. Had a player sent off for an absolutely ridiculous reason as the ref said originally our player got the ball and then after the Brighton bench ran on the pitch changed his mind and sent Morgan Gibbs white off. We then had the chance to win it at the end and missed a one on one with the keeper. Should have won. Although Brighton were much better than us throughout the game. I am so mad about the ref though. It was an utter joke. Also the coverage was non existent as soon as the game finished then didn’t even analyze it and went straight to Manchester Citeh and the Arse. Chicago: Steaming. RE: Brighton - Nottingham Forest - Fumanchew - 22-09-2024 I knew that there would be hardly any attention either side of the game and during the half when they needed 5 people in Manchester to introduce our game and sent no team to Brighton RE: Brighton - Nottingham Forest - Salvatore Matrecano - 22-09-2024 Good result for us and referee controversy (decision correct but he made himself look incompetent in the process), however I think this is all hiding what was a disappointing performance overall. Would have been delighted last season but our standards are higher now prefer us not to look second best. RE: Brighton - Nottingham Forest - Trailer Park Tom - 22-09-2024 Great point against a very strong team. Buzzing to see the two new attacking players like up for the goal as we need more goals. I'm not going to over analyse it as we are in a strong position. Hopefully Anderson and Moreno are ok. Sels has to do better. RE: Brighton - Nottingham Forest - Plymouth red - 22-09-2024 If you had offered me a draw at the start of the game I would have taken it. If you had offered me a draw at half time I would have taken it. If you offered me a draw after 85 minutes I would have taken it. So in conclusion, I'm happy with a draw... We got just 2 points from these games last season(if you swap out Luton with southampton) so other than wolves result we've improved in every other game. Not too bad. Oh 100% last season we would have lost that game 3-2 A bit of resilience is a quality not to be underestimated. RE: Brighton - Nottingham Forest - stirred - 22-09-2024 1 point by itself doesn't seem that much but over a season they add up, not to mention for the team spirit getting the result and the resilience shown. And importantly it's 2 less points for our opposition, and if we're aiming to get in the top half, we need to be taking points off these sides. So yes, its a decent days work. So yes, its a decent days work. 4 points from two very difficult away matches is a great result. 7 points from 3 away games is fantastic... we now need to start seeing sides off at the city ground. Ironically you have to go back to Fulham last season for our last home win - five games since we last won. In fact, having just looked back, our home form in 2024 has been pretty poor - just two wins this year at home. |
