How is it we actually played a bit of football when we were losing. It's a mentality or it's tactics.

Hope we’re in for another one before the window shuts.
Disagree with that, besides a couple of poor distributions I thought he was ok

f**k the haters, superb performance today, so unlucky not to get something out of that game. Robbed by more big club reffing.

Wasn't a penalty and shouldn't have been a red card.
Hard enough to win without the ref doing all he can to help them.
Some of our defending needs to improve, which it will.

RE: Manchester United - Nottingham Forest - The reds - 26-08-2023

McKenna and Worrall were the problems I hope that’s the last we have seen of them, Referee was a disgrace how that was a Red Card is beyond me Fernandes trips Worrall up first and Boly was covering and also that penalty was a blatant dive and how we didn’t get penalty either is a disgrace to

Overall, Good Battling display at the end putting them under pressure last 15/20 mins with 10 Men
Night and Day from last season losing 5-0 At Arsenal and 3-0 at Old Trafford
That’s 6 GD better than last season already

Same turner what kept the score down. Your only as good as the defence in front of you. He's bound to be a bag of nerves with Joe and Scott in front of him, whole team played better without them on the pitch

Again concede 3 to Man U . Cooper will be saying it's a learning process again. Hey Steve, I thought you would have learnt we are not good at the low block. We look much better in possession and were the better team with 10 men in possession than 11 trying to defend. Same against Arsenal. Thought we were the better team in the last 10-15 minutes just a shame we couldn't hold on. Rashford 10/10 for the high board dive. Bruno....what a Mard arse

RE: Manchester United - Nottingham Forest - jurgen rober - 26-08-2023

I can't see how they say that Fernandes was certain to get to the ball before Boly or Turner to say it was a goal scoring opportunity - so no red card. Martin Keown staets that it was no pen and Rashford dived and it was just knees coming together. Don't think we had the luck today and Gibbs-White was unlucky when his shot hit Awoniyi with the keeper beaten. Think we did enough to get a point and will be good to see Felipe back as we could have done with the 'rock' today.

RE: Manchester United - Nottingham Forest - nffc93 - 26-08-2023

No complaints from me for effort/performance. Never a straight red. We were rob'dogged.

VAR can f**k right off. You'll never get anything at these grounds. Robbed at Arsenal with Rice. And now at Trafford with sending off. That should have been downgraded to a yellow.

Turner? I'm not that sure to be honest. Think we still need Hendo who appears to be off to Palace, sadly.

Off to Greece for 10 nights tomorrow so weekend not totally ruined.

RE: Manchester United - Nottingham Forest - ozzyten10 - 26-08-2023

I take lots of heart from that - the VaR call should have rescinded that to a yellow - Bruno never getting there and Boly and keeper closer to the ball. Pen was so daft it was unreal.
I don’t believe cooper set us out at 2-0 to keep giving the ball away - the team just didn’t play with their heads. Holding on to the ball in midfield is when ahead and we just kept launching it - possibly because we had some early effect with it but that is where we lack. The lads will be disappointed and if you look at the wood chance again it was a penalty - keeper doesn’t touch the ball and clears out wood. We were done by reffing and var today…

Ive always said we can play qhen we want to. We're just not allowed to. Id really like to just see one game where we have a bit of a go for the whole 90.

RE: Manchester United - Nottingham Forest - Salvatore Matrecano - 26-08-2023

Bad luck lads. 10 vs 12 is just unfair.

Whilst I agree we sat back too much at time we very nearly hit them on the break for 1-3. That Utd were desperately hanging on at the end speaks volumes

So now Worrall and Mckenna a should never play for us again eh?
Maybe thats why we needed 30 signings so we can immediately bin off all the players the experts on here want to ditch after one poor tackle. We would still struggle to field a team after a few games I reckon.
