I thought Mangala was our best player today. For me, he starts most games, the decision  is who to play him with.

Agreed, Mangala is an absolute baller.

A far better performance than Newcastle and controlled aspects of game far better than West Ham. Disappointing not to win but a draw probably fair given balance of play.

Next two games look very difficult so anything other than two defeats will be very much welcomed.

Lingard did not contribute enough yesterday to guarantee a first team shirt so if he plays in starting xi against Spurs then he really needs to up his game.

Agreed. I thought he offered nothing yesterday. Nothing going forward and nothing defensively. Personally I would start MGW instead against Spurs. Mind, I wonder if the combo of MGW and Lingard could work? Moving at pace and more 1-2s around the box?

Also, why does Awoniyi not want to shoot? He was in some good positions yesterday but seemed to bottle the shot

The goal went something like this... Lingard - Yates, Yates - Lingard, Lingard has a run at them - Toffolo, Toffolo - Lingard, Lingard - Yates... Yates shoots.. Johnson scores.

Yeah, and from what i saw it was Neco that played Gray onside, the rest of the defence (Worrall, Cook & McKenna) appear to have stepped up.
This is what will happen with new players in the team, the other three have been doing it most of last season together.

Also a very smart run from Leicester reject.

Thank you.
Another point I'd like to make is the goal v West Ham.
McKenna - Toffolo, Toffolo - O'Brien, O'Brien - Toffolo, Toffolo dribbles into the box, Toffolo - Lingard, Lingard shoots... Awoyini scores.

Toffolo & Lingard the key to both Forests goals this season.
Both have Toffolo cutting into the penalty area creating space for Lingard and Johnson to operate.

For all the deserved plaudits Neco is getting - Toffolo is creator in chief thus far.
Who remembers the last LB Forest signed as a makeweight?
