I genuinely thought Boro were excellent.
If Spence does go back I dont see him easily getting in to that team. His natural position on the right they have Isiah Jones who has had Colback on toast for most of that half.

We look like a side with a patched up defence. Colback and Back offer zero going forward and the their full back has Johnson on toast which means we have Hughtons attacking threat.

Young Back shows the odd glimpse of quality but generally he looks a bit out his depth here. Hope the team can get his confidence up in the dressing room.
We need to get Cafu on the pitch. He'll add the ability to hild the ball up and move it through midfield. That means one of the 3 cbs going to rb.

It could have been worse, if not for Samba.
I think the game was reasonably even before the OG. But the Yates own goal lifts Boro' and deflates Forest. It's a classic situation following such a howler. It boosts the other side.
Boro's squad isn't bad at all. I've always felt they've been starting the season (any given season) with a higher quality base than Forest in general. (They were doing 'ok' under Warnock. But Wilder seems to have tapped the potential of the squad and they beat Bournemouth though Bourney didn't take their chances either. And I didn't think it wise to under estimate them. They've been pretty decent since Aitor onwards. I wonder if they're playing with two recognised fullbacks today, for example.
I hope Ryan gets the equaliser. ;)
If Forest can create SOME chances.
