Nah dont believe this for a second. One thing that has changed for the better is that we no longer give out contracts to pensioners. Thats one of the reasons we have comparatively struggled to bring people in this year.

Someone we have been linked with before.
Surely this would have to be a free transfer, should it ever happen and if he is still on Celta Vigos books, then he isnt a free agent? Or am I looking at this all wrong?
Is he any good? He's 'free?'
And he's scored less goals than Silva?

It's just a pity for them that they haven't bothered to look at our new remit then isn't it? :D

Or it's more journo bullshit to stir up interest in their websites.
We saw a lot of it during the summer window especially from Turkey.
I will be amazed if there is any truth in it.

It’s caused some people to lose their intelligence on Twitter, fans saying it wouldn’t be a bad signing and that he’s shown to have had pedigree in the past and that yeah recent seasons are disappointing but it adds something different to what we’ve got.
Deluded!!

Or desperation given where we find ourselves?

Deluded and Desperation both start with a D, I guess.
There's no getting away from it. No matter who is manager (and Hughton just caught out with holding the 'prize' from Forest's game of pass the parcel...) Forest are going to have to go through this transitional pain barrier.
I can stand the pain and have the patience to see the manager and recruited playing staff claw some points to mid-table by the half season / Christmas time. Hopefully, by then we'll have the confidence to develop Forest's style of football but if it's winning football with a 4-3-3? I don't care.
I'd then like the club continue with Plan B in January and build on the Summer's work.

Sounds like that Ferryra (spelling?) might be off to Colo Colo now.
RE: Rate the Transfer Window - Strawberry Avenger - 09-09-2021
Hughton open to free agent (strikers) if they can add value.
Facunda has got his move to Chile. 500k for a 1 year contract.
I guess bringing in 'two strikers' is easier said than done. With much of the general team building done in the Summer window, perhaps January or more likely, next Summer when many key earners are set to leave we'll be able to put 'more' into it. Maybe a free agent opportunity or a January prospect will emerge.
I'm itching to upgrade my Transfer Window score to an 8.

Announced? This is our current squad? 21 players?
The Academy players such as Brennan, Konate etc don't count as 'part of the 21?'
So there's room for four more 'free transfers' between now/and in January to round out the team? eg. Strikers?

Ely, Ojeda and Silva were signed after the original 21 were submitted.
