Mowatt's playing in his familiar territory of bottom if the league though. Thats true about Mowatt. Dont think anyone ever said Ismael was a good idea though. What they did have was a load of big egos on high wages who thought they were too good for the Championship. There is a lesson in there for any club that gets relegated. I just think they got the Ismael appointment wrong and then followed up with Bruce who has lost his zing as a manager. Those two poor appointments happening with the loss of their parachute money has scuppered them big time and suddenly bang, they're struggling to stay in the league. It just shows how some poor decisions can really trash a decent club. Corberan is an interesting appointment though. I wonder if he can get a tune out of them? RE: The Championship - Sausage Roll - 05-11-2022 Sheffield United vs. Burnley has been an excellent match. Lots of ex-Forest interest too. Jack Robinson gave away two goals then scored one. Muric made some brilliant saves but still looks appalling at crosses. Shame about the result though. Sheff U are just such an unlikeable club all across the board. Manager, lots of their fans and a bunch of their players too. It's sad to see Ahmedodzic doing so well there. If it is OMG, i saw about 20 minutes of the game in the background so didnt really hear the commentary but did think the Burnley keeper was shite. Sheff were chucking crosses in and he looked lost. Yes it's him the same one and he's still crap by the looks of it. Made some excellent saves to be fair and his passing was very good. But he was appalling whenever a cross came into the box. RE: The Championship - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 15-11-2024 Burnley thinking about replacing Scott Parker. No surprise that but what were they thinking appointing him in the first place? RE: The Championship - Fumanchew - 15-11-2024 (15-11-2024, 01:58 PM)Sniffer Dog (Admin) Wrote: Burnley thinking about replacing Scott Parker. They’re 4th 4 points from the top, I doubt anyome expected Sunderland’s season so far but only sheff Utd and Leeds are above them what else does their board expect? They lost to the leader at the end of August and didn’t lose again till the other week to Millwall. Would we be reacting the same if we ever went down again though… RE: The Championship - The reds - 15-11-2024 (15-11-2024, 04:19 PM)Fumanchew Wrote:(15-11-2024, 01:58 PM)Sniffer Dog (Admin) Wrote: Burnley thinking about replacing Scott Parker. I don't think it is the results - but the style of play. Fulham and Bournemouth fans hated Parker's style. So boring. They should go for Ruud Van Nistelrooy RE: The Championship - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 17-11-2024 (15-11-2024, 08:09 PM)The reds Wrote:(15-11-2024, 04:19 PM)Fumanchew Wrote:(15-11-2024, 01:58 PM)Sniffer Dog (Admin) Wrote: Burnley thinking about replacing Scott Parker.
