I believe with the right mindset we can beat then down at their place as pace was their downfall last night when City broke forward, they have so many players committed forwards most of the time, leaves them exposed which is Forest strength.

It’s inevitable when you’re at the bottom that you’ll have these bad runs.

We were the same last season.

I’m sure there will be a run of games where they are thinking they can pick up enough points to survive.

In my mind they are overachieving and that has kept their hope alive. I don’t think they look like a team that feel defeated, they just know that they will lose more than they win.

Are they on a bad run though or have they had a bit of a good run and now it's back to normal?

As others have said, they have a go in games and so are always capable of getting goals but the good results they were getting have slipped away of late. The way their CB's defended Haaland last night was crazy.

They have just played Man City, Liverpool, Man Utd and Newcastle. The only bad result was the Sheff Utd home loss (which was very welcomed).

Lets not get too carried away as I suspect after our next three games we may well have similar stats.

Luton's last matches:

Conceded 6 vs Man City.
Conceded 4 vs a heavily depleted Liverpool.
Conceded 2 vs Man Utd but should have been several.
Conceded 3 vs bottom of the table Sheff Utd.
Conceded 4 vs mid-table Newcastle.

They been sussed out. They're a busted flush. Finished. So long, and thanks for all the straw hats.

They're going to beat us aren't they.

RE: The Premier League 2023/24 - Mcforest - 28-02-2024

we play no different from them at the moment so would stay away from the they are done comments right now. Cos if they are gone then we are to. We both play a go at them brand of football and are weak and open at the back. I would be most concern is that if we do get a points deduction and fall below Luton they might go more pragmatic while we would need all the wins we can get and be more open. So i am no way writing them off as done.

Feeling marginally comforted watching Luton today. They have been pretty bad so far (although imagine someone else watching our game vs Villa last week would've said the same)

Next game for Luton is Palace. Palace winning that then they are clear and prob safe. I dare not think about a Luton win.
