I never said he had lost the entire dressing room, I said he has lost a lot of it.............there's a difference! Typical football fan talk when the team loses a few games. Sorry Trickster, I wasnt implying that your info was crap, its just that when fans of any club turn on the manager, which they have done now in our case, then the inevitable 'lost the dressing room' accusation is wheeled out. I found your report encouraging if anything. If he had lost the dressing room there'd be reports of rebellion, confrontation, or malaise. I didnt read any of that. Oh and btw, apparently Cocu has lost the sheep dressing room too. RE: Sabri - Snap Poll 2 - ozzyten10 - 28-09-2020 I do expect a reaction this week. Too much experience and proven quality in arter, Christie, grabban, freeman, lolley and colback for there not to be. Also think McKenna has leadership qualities. If those don’t turn up again then talk of losing the dressing room may have some credence RE: Sabri - Snap Poll 2 - Tricky - 28-09-2020 (28-09-2020, 06:50 PM)Paplane Wrote:(28-09-2020, 06:22 PM)Tricky Wrote:(28-09-2020, 04:34 PM)Paplane Wrote: This is all a load of bollocks. RE: Sabri - Snap Poll 2 - Redreg - 28-09-2020 I want to know how a dressing room full of all those players cant sort this shit out on its own they have all played football before they are professional players and should be able to fix something that is not working on the pitch !!! RE: Sabri - Snap Poll 2 - ozzyten10 - 28-09-2020 We haven’t been pummelled yet. RE: Sabri - Snap Poll 2 - Reds73 - 28-09-2020 It’s when you lose the senior players you have a problem. As long as Dawson, Grabban, Colback, Arter, Sow are with Sabri then they manage the dressing room RE: Sabri - Snap Poll 2 - Marinakis Red - 28-09-2020 It did not look like they were on Friday night. If we don’t come out of the break looking like one of the best teams in the division then he will have to go. It means the players, or the majority including the key characters and leaders in the dressing room, have lost belief and maybe respect in him and his methods. They might not be consciously defying him but they have mentally stopped giving 100% effort for him. It’s what happened to MON at the end of his time here. We could blame the players for their attitude, and we’d probably be right, but the fact is the coach is paid to get the best out of them and make the sum of the team greater than the sum of each individual. Once their faith in him has gone, he’s dead in the water. Once ‘the dressing room is lost’ it is game over. Bye bye coach. |
