Sorry Trickster, I wasnt implying that your info was crap, its just that when fans of any club turn on the manager, which they have done now in our case, then the inevitable 'lost the dressing room' accusation is wheeled out. I found your report encouraging if anything. If he had lost the dressing room there'd be reports of rebellion, confrontation, or malaise. I didnt read any of that.
Oh and btw, apparently Cocu has lost the sheep dressing room too.

i'm happy to accept we are a cursed club, a curfew club, a don't talk about anything vaguely relevant to the problem club, but, i will stick by any coach, however many losses, however many lost dressing rooms, however many players revolting, who can communicate with me, tell me a bit about what we are trying to achieve, what we have learned, or how insurmountable even a situation is, that sort of thing, having said all that they can give Sabri a 3 year extension for me, i'll watch the games and look for something positive, but i sort of default to body language and poor communication and this has been going on for a while, get everyone into a room and sort it out and then tell us it has been sorted out but something has been wrong for a while, it's not to disimilar to Karanka, he went despondant after a fine win, i don't know the answers, just accept we are cursed and enjoy what we can of it.

I do expect a reaction this week. Too much experience and proven quality in arter, Christie, grabban, freeman, lolley and colback for there not to be. Also think McKenna has leadership qualities.
If those don’t turn up again then talk of losing the dressing room may have some credence

As long as Dawson, Grabban, Colback, Arter, Sow are with Sabri then they manage the dressing room

Having said all that, i can live with it but far easier to get over it if Sabri made sense of the mistakes, clarified a few things, vaguely got into some specifics
And having said all that and that and that, now is the worst possible timing, unless it is someone who can clearly see the problem(s) and solution(s)
Having said all that it's maybe not about losing a dressing room it is about repairing a shattered dressing room, the confidence in everyone and the coach and all things is broken, differant to losing a dressing room as others say, they are professionals but they aren't walking out onto the pitch as confident pro's with swagger, this is the problem imo

Those of you that know me on here will know that I do not put up gossip or idle bullshit. The above has been told to me by my son, who I trust totally by someone we all know through their connection to the club. If that person has been bullshitting my son, then I will view them in a totally different light from now on, but, in all fairness, I doubt the person is that way inclined.
I think 3) is the most concerning thing, if indeed true. It's frustrating for me because I can't understand what we're trying to achieve in order to get cohesive attacks with the players / formation he chooses, and I wish he'd help us understand. But if the players don't understand then its impossible.
Losing the dressing room is a big problem that must be addressed one way or another, but I don't like the way players can do that and force a coach out. I guess that's where the likes of Dourekas and all come in, helping feed to the hierarchy what's going on and who is at fault.
It's a sign of the times though, we've brought up a generation that need to be persuaded to do things. The respect for authority has declined, holding a position isn't enough, it will be questioned and has to be (continually) earnt more these days. Like it or not it's part of the job of managing a team of people.
What does losing the dressing room mean.
It means the players, or the majority including the key characters and leaders in the dressing room, have lost belief and maybe respect in him and his methods. They might not be consciously defying him but they have mentally stopped giving 100% effort for him.
It’s what happened to MON at the end of his time here.
We could blame the players for their attitude, and we’d probably be right, but the fact is the coach is paid to get the best out of them and make the sum of the team greater than the sum of each individual. Once their faith in him has gone, he’s dead in the water. Once ‘the dressing room is lost’ it is game over. Bye bye coach.
