It hasn't been likely since AK fell out with the board, but.......5pts off the playoffs?

Not impossible. Improbable, but not impossible.

After watching that shite, we haven't got a chance of promotion, especially if O'Neill cannot see that playing Watson and Murphy and not starting with Grabban and Carvalho, I really cannot understand what he sees in these players.

Murphy is a waste of space, and does Watson not know how to play a pass up the pitch, everything with him is either a sideways or a back pass, he is useless, and If O'Neill carries on with these players, we are going nowhere...rant over

P.S today was a shocking game.

O’neill has been unlucky with having no defenders then colback immediately banned plus Grabban apparently injured.

I think not playing carvalho is surely most fans main complaint. Both due to him being our most creative player and what it represents in terms of tactics and style.

Personally not too bothered how we play style wise these days, football is more fun if you’re winning and less fun if you’re losing. Probably think this style is the most likely to lead to promotion at some point.

Time to prepare fore next season, evaluate which of the loans we may want to keep, develop Appiah and Yates. Stop playing those who wont be here next season, watson Geddy etc. Move on.

I would of loved to of seen Appiah and Yates start today, having said that I couldn't actually see the game, but seeing them involved and looking to the future would of been a beautiful thing.

Not as unlucky as losing Dawson and Figgy at the same time when they were at the top of their game.

Yeah that does seemed to have ruined us, add in Byram to that too in terms of defining injuries

3 season defining injuries that cost a boat load of points in December just when we were getting 'on top' for a 'top 6' place.

Our fullbacks seemed a bit soft today.  Two goals.  One from each side.

The fullbacks were a bit of a weakness in our recruitment, that and the lack of a battle hardened Championship winger.

I would have liked to have seen Yates and Appiah given a go too.  But MON tried to keep as much of the winning side from Wigan as he could.  Birmingham took advantage of our fullback's mistakes.

We had two shots that could have changed things.  Lolley on the post.  The Brazilian's rocket that was seemingly going in...but...alas...

Yates.  Apia.  They'll get their go in time.
