RE: Welcome Home Sean Dyche, Stoney And Woany - Salvatore Matrecano - 20-11-2025 I liked this bit from Woan “Woan recalls the events of a nailbiting October afternoon before their return. “We were sitting at Starbucks across the road for 2½ hours while the gaffer was negotiating,” Woan says. “We were praying for it to happen. This has always been the one job we wanted. I’d have been so gutted if it had fallen through. It was probably our last chance to have a go at it. “When we got told the deal was done, I was doing wheelspins out of the car park“ He has been doing extra work with Hutchinson too. Lots of focus on squad unity which is what you might expect. Whole squad have been doing extra fitness training last 2 weeks. Expect, CHO, Wood Luiz back. Aina back early January ahead of schedule, he had better not go to AFCON. Not sure how much Forest can influence it but I imagine they'd be doing everything possible to make sure Aina doesn't go to AFCON. Is it not inconceivable that Edu and Syrianos identified Dyche and EM then interviewed him. The sign of good management is accepting when you have made a mistake and then doing something about it. It is even better management when you take measures to ensure you do not make the same mistake again. It would have been great if that mistake had not occurred in the first place, but it did, and it looks like the action EM has taken is having the desired results. RE: Welcome Home Sean Dyche, Stoney And Woany - JohnG - 20-11-2025 "Roberto Mancini, the former Italy and Manchester City manager, was tentatively pushed forward by Edu Gaspar, the club’s global head of football, but negotiations collapsed over the number of backroom staff he would bring in, which was up to eight. Meanwhile, Dyche’s strong desire for the job was clear and proved pivotal." Shudder, I wonder if any of those proposed backroom staff would have been Platt RE: Welcome Home Sean Dyche, Stoney And Woany - wassy04 - 20-11-2025 "The nature of Forest’s performance, after leading by two goals and losing in added time, triggered early concern and was even described by one insider as “worryingly Spursy”. Ha, funny and also so true. RE: Welcome Home Sean Dyche, Stoney And Woany - DeesideRed - 21-11-2025 Interview with Dyche in this month's Four Four Two naming his favourite song as 'Touch me' by Rui Da Silva. Not what many would have expected. Have that useless piece of trivia! RE: Welcome Home Sean Dyche, Stoney And Woany - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 23-11-2025 BOTH Forest full backs combine in the Liverpool penalty area away at Anfield to score a goal. But Sean Dyche is a defensive coach :Wondering: RE: Welcome Home Sean Dyche, Stoney And Woany - Paplane - 23-11-2025 4 players in the box towards the end. Solid defensive performance but Dyche presses a lot more. 100% more in fact. Nuno would've shut up shop at 2-0 and brought Morato on. Dyche beought Hutchinson on and told him to get at the full back, which he did. It was a super performance. Probably our best since we got promoted. What a win.
