RE: Nottingham Forest - Everton - Mist From The Trent - 13-04-2025 Absolutely honking performance. Offered nothing going forwards. I can understand the head loss immediately after the game, however, once the dust has settled and people see we are still sat in 3rd, with six games left, we can all be more positive (myself included, I was raging last night). We've seen this group come back strong after poor performances, let's hope we can go again! RE: Nottingham Forest - Everton - Paplane - 13-04-2025 What was the approach yesterday? Why were we continually chucking long balls up to Wood and Jota/Elanga? They hardly won a header all game against their 2 cb's. Everton got in our players faces and didn't give us a moment on the ball. The whole game was like a slow motion car crash. We got weaker, not stronger, the longer the game went on. We've not been dominated like that all season, including when we lost by 5 at Bournemouth. Everton did really, really well but where was the change in our approach to try something different when it was clear things weren't going our way? Maybe Nuno was thinking bad day, but we've scraped a point at least. |
