We would have drawn or lost that last season. Still showing progress and off the mark at home. Jota Silva great off the bench but we need a bit more composure to kill off games, had plenty of chances to do it

Took us 11 games to get to 13 pts last season.
Took us 15 games in 22/23.
Next up - Leicester who, for all their moaning about cooper are doing so much better than their fellow promoted teams

I thought we played well tonight.
Anderson stepped up in the 10.
A lot of people had the draw in the predictions league and for me a win and clean sheet is perfect going into a big away game.
Confidence for the players at home against West Ham and a lift for the fans.

Has Miguel transformed selz? There’s no doubt he’s stepped up, when he came in in Jan he knew he was here cus the other two were trash, now he knows we’ve bought Miguel to be number 1 one day, he keeps pulling out these worldly saves

Decent game that.
Just want to point out that Elanga’s corners first half were very good and our most consistent creator of chances. That said the rest of his contribution was largely ineffective.
I suspect that Jota will come him for him on Friday and rightly so.
Murillo is a concern for me, the number of unforced errors he makes are too high for him to play at a higher level than he is now.
I see that there is some criticism of brining on Williams and Morato but it was much needed with Mateta replacing Nketiah. Moreno was struggling to move freely and we needed some strength to compete with their beast of a centre forward.
