Anyone know if this is true?!?! Would be a massive kick in the bullocks if true! Fray interviewed him on radio nottingham - he didn't say he was injured, i think he said it was planned as coming back from injury RE: Nottingham Forest - West Ham - Reds73 - 17-02-2024 (17-02-2024, 08:46 PM)Shawoddyred Wrote: Just read the BBC report from the game..... says taiwo went off injured. He was just gassed RE: Nottingham Forest - West Ham - Salvatore Matrecano - 17-02-2024 Taiwo said he was fine in the interview. When he went off he went to sit on the bench, didn’t go down the tunnel. Literally the only thing he did first half was put the ball in the net but that’s what he is here for. RE: Nottingham Forest - West Ham - Fumanchew - 17-02-2024 I wonder wether motd’s analysis will be how wham were bad not that we were good… RE: Nottingham Forest - West Ham - Shawoddyred - 17-02-2024 Phew! Glad he's not injured. Back to being an excellent day for forest then! If I’m not allowed to mention cooper or look back or compare then neither are you. Fairs fair old boy RE: Nottingham Forest - West Ham - Fumanchew - 17-02-2024 Re-watching the CHO goal, any other day, 99/100, origis back heel flick goes miles into the sky or neco somehow doesn’t win possession of that ball against a defender when he really shouldn’t have, or Callum’s ball slams into a stray defenders leg and loops over. Gotta love football innit RE: Nottingham Forest - West Ham - Trailer Park Tom - 18-02-2024 Thought we smartened up today by giving away minimal set pieces . Still a couple of shady diagonals across our own box but generally much better game management. I did say "prior management team" so as not to mention any particular individual. But everyone has to admit that we do look so much better now, we have attacking intent and are taking games to the opposition, regardless of who they are, which is why we beat Newcastle and Manure recently. I have always said I dont mind losing provided we tried to win. Football is entertainment and should entertain. Low block rubbish is not entertaining in the slightest and is a failure of the management and coaching team, it simply shows how they are not up to the level required. There will always be disagreements, a lot of people dont like Tavares. I think he is excellent as he picks up the ball and runs and relieves pressure on our defence and puts pressure on the opposition. When the opposition know he can do this, they hold back, creating in itself less pressure. Yes he has the odd wayward pass and mistake in him, but that will, in time, if he continues to play, be coached out of him. We are lucky now that we have Aina and Williams and Toff and Tavares all fighting for a first team start. MGW is transformed playing centrally as opposed to right wing. Quite simply we now have what is more like an "elite" management/coaching team and the performances show it not just as a team but individual performances as well. Selz has looked good in goal, confident with his feet - yet if you read Twitter before he played he was awful and Forests owners were dumb signing such a poor level keeper. Currently it seems Sangare and Tavares are the "knocking boys" for the Twiterati......even though Sangare was, before Afcon, being played in his correct position finally and finally was able to put in a decent performance. Again, thats coaching and management team playing players in their correct position. Billy was right and its always right - square pegs in square holes. Sangare, MGW etc.. being played in their correct positions then they play well. That comes from trying to win games, a winning mentality, good coaching and good team selection. Which is why I am very happy with the current coaching and management team. |
