RE: Nuno Espirito Santo - Roberto1966 - 30-12-2023 Personally I believe that Nuno Espirito Santo will do very well on the bench and will get the best out of each of the boys he coaches, he will certainly review the part that concerns ball possession, too low so far from the start of the championship statistics of one of the teams with the lowest percentage of ball possession. I am convinced that from the next matches we will see a change in the way we play and not expose ourselves to pressure from our opponents. RE: Nuno Espirito Santo - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 31-12-2023 Once again he was so humble and took no credit for our win and heaped it all on the players. The only thing he took credit for was Matt Turners kicking! What a man! I loving him Sniff. Absolute top bloke and seemingly a bloody good coach. RE: Nuno Espirito Santo - Salvatore Matrecano - 31-12-2023 He will have tough times to come for certain but he is already putting a load of credit in the bank. Don’t think anyone expected 6 points from his first 3 games. Genuinely think it would have been 9 but for the most incompetent refereeing display Ive ever witnessed. RE: Nuno Espirito Santo - BadDog - 31-12-2023 You can see the upgrade in the coaching side in just 11 days, in 6 months we could be some side. Long may it continue. RE: Nuno Espirito Santo - zicorice - 31-12-2023 BadDogYou can see the upgrade in the coaching side in just 11 days, in 6 months we could be some side. Long may it continue. I don't quite subscribe to this fully. The coaching philosophy seems to be very similar and nothing drastic can change on the training pitch in 11 days apart from attitude. But a fresh slate for every player trying to prove themselves to the new man along with a few tweaks is paying dividends. Nuno is clearly a smart guy and an experienced manager. His next task is to somehow cut out the individual errors that have blighted our season and neatly cost us points in last 2 games. I suspect he won't be shy in making required changes once he's settled in. A fantastic start and I would say a very wise one. RE: Nuno Espirito Santo - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 02-01-2024 Yes time to move on. It's a new era now so lets all get behind that and enjoy it. This ^^ RE: Nuno Espirito Santo - Username - 02-01-2024 A collection of posts from Twitter does not make an article, far from it, though I suppose if you don't go to games then this is likely to be your reality. RE: Nuno Espirito Santo - Paplane - 16-01-2024 Im just hoping he was informed about our financial situation before he was hired. I reckon his brief was to reduce the squad size, expect a 6 point deduction and stay up. I reckon his brief was to reduce the squad size, expect a 6 point deduction and stay up. On basis that Everton have overspent for 5 yrs and exceeded allowable losses over that period, and then weren’t above board with the EFL during discussions, I think 6 points would very hugely harsh given Ben we were in constant dialogue with the EPL and were only outside for 2 months. Fine and suspended points penalty I would hope for RE: Nuno Espirito Santo - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 16-01-2024 Lets keep on track chaps. Nuno Espirito Santo. |
