RE: Nottingham Forest - Newcastle United - Plymouth red - 17-03-2023

It's worrying but let's not kid ourselves. We are miles away from the top sides in terms of personnel and we have got a proper fight on now.

But these are not the games that will decide our fate - wolves, Leeds, Southampton and Palace will. Hopefully someone will appoint lampard or Gerrard to help us out

But we've got to play better.

Cue being shot down- I don’t care- but there really is some utter shite being spouted on here.
We are all disappointed but ffs get some perspective.
It was always going to be a slog and slog it is…

RE: Nottingham Forest - Newcastle United - JollyLolly - 17-03-2023

Agreed DR but we are just not helping ourselves and SC is as much to blame as the performance of the players!!!

We've got no momentum and teams below us have some now. That's massive. I agree it would be a slog but can you honestly expect this group of players to really dig in and get 3 more wins in big pressure games? I cant.

RE: Nottingham Forest - Newcastle United - ozzyten10 - 17-03-2023

That was down to ref and newcastle dark arts. He gave everything their way and when we had similar fouls waved play on. There was a foul on Dennis that was on the edge of the box that was a diabolical decision

First loss at home in an age. Not down yet. Eddie Warnock did a job on us. Trippier is the best player I’ve seen this year though…a great player.

Officials seem to have it in for us this season. I genuinely believe it. Just can't fathom how we can have such pass poor decisions go against us.

I do miss the days where Coops would weave his magic at half time and he'd have a solution to a problem and we'd come out guns blazing second halt.

We just couldn't afford to lose this game tonight. I genuinely think we are done unfortunately.

We had a decent go against a very very good side. Some people looking for a new scapegoat now they cant blame Worrall.

Wolves on 1st April is a 100% must win now though.

RE: Nottingham Forest - Newcastle United - zicorice - 18-03-2023

First home league defeat in ages, a few players nowhere near match fit. Joe Worrall must wonder what the f@(k he got dropped for, to be replaced by a player clearly nowhere near ready to return who gave away possibly stupidest penalty ever.

Positives
- Felipe.. how he didn't get motm I gave no clue. He was playing CB on his own most of the night. Immense.
- Niakhate is back and I'm lead to believe he will be the new Des Walker...just not today. Nice pink boots though.
- Ayew is actually a decent hold up player. Looks like a foul on him for their equaliser  haven't watched on TV though.
- Dennis took his goal superbly, worked hard and played pretty well on whole. Clearly a player in there.
- A few brain dead Geordies will now likely be facing a ban for a year or 3.
- Yates back.

Negatives
- Attacking line up, but struggled to keep the ball in order to do any real damage.
- Bit worried, the hype around Niakhate might just be that, hopefully just ring rust though.
- Yates injured
- Jonno was in with physio straight after game.
- a really hard earned point thrown away right at the end.
- Got two full weeks of reading how having done pretty much what keyboard managers/people who have managed The Dog and Duck wanted, SC got everything so wrong and should have done XY&Z even though they  don't have the knowledge gleened from working with the players day in day out.
Confidence is clearly lacking at present. The injuries are biting  and sticking together behind our lads more important than ever.

Surely they have to treat all our remaining games as "must wins"
