Do we know whats up with Yates? Surely cant be concussion over a week later?

Concussion can last for up to two or more weeks apparently Sal. Obviously it depends on the severity in the first place

Yeah in NFL where its a more regular occurrence they have a full concussion protocol to go through before they are able to resume full training and matches. Generally miss the following week's match and if its a bad one can be a few weeks.

Weirdly IFAB rejected the suggestion of a rolling concussion subs so players can be assessed properly and go through a protocol of sorts. Bizarre decision really but definitely something that football is very far behind on.

I remember during the WC a few times where players played on despite being visibly concussed. I believe the risk is that another concussion at that point can be quite dangerous to the player's health.

Anyway suspect he's out for Wednesday!

- Every single away point in this league is very very hard earned and we got it!
- Hennessey looked solid and kept us in it with a top save at 0-1.
- Jonno looked dangerous even if end product was not always there.
- Danilo got minutes under his belt.
- Scarpa looked very good.
- Williams excellent.
- Great tactical subs (3 of them?).
- VAR saved away fans a cold swim

Negatives
- Response to Yates disallowed goal.
- Somebody kidnapped Aurier and replaced him with a lookalike out of The Sunday League. Hope he is rescued in time for ManUnited game.
- Bournemouth opened us up a few too many times for my liking.
- Mangala seemed to struggle, Scarpa played his role very impressively though.
- Looked like Yates was suffering with concussion related head problem.

Overall the point is massive in the circumstances. I'm sure as we all calm down everyone can see that.

Agree with points away but we need to be beating the Bournemouths of this league or we become one of them.
Agree about Hennessy
Jonno never dangerous today, poor decision making. He has one good game in 5 and he's everyone darling again. He needs to step up every game like MGW.
Danilo looked ok i'm sure there is a premier league player in there  same with Scarpa.
Wiliams excellent? He was good going forward but had nothing to do defensively, despite playing full back this is his weakest position
Top teams will kill us with embarrassing scorelines if we perform like today.
Yates will be missed if not fit.

Not too worried if Yates is missing on Wednesday. It would mean that Danilo might start along with Colback in for Mangala. I thought Danilo looked very tidy today.

Let's not get cocky, we finished below this lot last year. We are 100% one of the 'Bournemouths' of the league. We've had a great run but let's not forget where we've come from. Hopefully.we can continue to ride the momentum

Jonno put in a couple of great balls including the assist for the goal and one which MGW put over.

Gonna be an interesting team sheet. Presume Surridge has earned a start, be interesting to see if he just plays the first team of makes a handful of changes. No weekend game means there's no need to rotate.

RE: Bournemouth - Nottingham Forest - Fumanchew - 21-01-2023

We’ve lost 2 in ten, got 16 points out of those 10 and are 10th in the form table

Over the last 5 games were pretty much half that but 9th in the form table.

Wobbles will come but draws away from home like it was said earlier, is staying up material

RE: Bournemouth - Nottingham Forest - Camms - 21-01-2023

Bournemouth are no mugs and have some very good player's.
I am delighted with a hard earned point away from home.

RE: Bournemouth - Nottingham Forest - willdared - 21-01-2023

Mad that we better them on the stats yet still feel relieved we got a point

RE: Bournemouth - Nottingham Forest - Paplane - 21-01-2023

Playing Wood was a mistake by Cooper today imo. He looked a stranger on the pitch. Not even had a training session with the team. How the hell was he going to be able to make impression?

he wasn't and he didn't.

Wood cannot play for 2 weeks. Putting him in today keeps Scarpa and Surridge fresher for Wednesday and allowed Wood game time before his 2 weeks no games.

I can see why it was done but it was a mistake.
