RE: Blackpool - Nottingham Forest - Plymouth red - 07-01-2023 Some of these need loaning out and getting some regular game time. RE: Blackpool - Nottingham Forest - Salvatore Matrecano - 07-01-2023 Wonder if Bowler is having a little smirk to himself. RE: Blackpool - Nottingham Forest - ozzyten10 - 07-01-2023 Obrien was a big let down today and I’m surprised by this. Dennis for me was OK - surridge awful misses. Williams subbed and rightly so - should be fined for that performance Cook looked injured to me from the challenge in the first few minutes and should have gone off for mbe soh - Scarpa, fewster are exempt from criticism. The rest - pay the fans that travelled- RE: Blackpool - Nottingham Forest - nffc93 - 07-01-2023 Dennis and Surridge piss poor. Wrong time to be typing straight after a game but both can go for me. Not good enough RE: Blackpool - Nottingham Forest - Colnago - 07-01-2023 The whole back 4 were dreadful,Williams head and shoulders the worst player on the pitch closely followed by O Brien RE: Blackpool - Nottingham Forest - nffc93 - 07-01-2023 To be fair they were all shit RE: Blackpool - Nottingham Forest - RyanR - 07-01-2023 (07-01-2023, 05:59 PM)nffc93 Wrote: Dennis and Surridge piss poor. He passes when he should shoot and shoots when he passes. I wonder if Surridge was feeling pressure to score and prolong his Forest career RE: Blackpool - Nottingham Forest - nffc93 - 07-01-2023 Apart from Scarpa who did ok RE: Blackpool - Nottingham Forest - nffc93 - 07-01-2023 (07-01-2023, 06:03 PM)RyanR Wrote:(07-01-2023, 05:59 PM)nffc93 Wrote: Dennis and Surridge piss poor. I'd be fuming if I was Cooper RE: Blackpool - Nottingham Forest - RedBeard - 07-01-2023 Terrible result today but in many ways it could pay dividends long term, my rationale for this being if Cooper or the club had any doubt about certain players added value to this squad; they likely don’t now. SC will likely be most annoyed with the effort today by a lot of the team, he will feel embarrassed for the showing they put on for the always amazing travelling support and it really flies in the face of the ethos he has cultivated. I’m sure a few of the lads will be getting the short end of the shitty stick from him this evening and have made his job very easy for identifying who can foxtrot Oscar this window. So for me, silver lining, we now have very little doubt as to what our first team is and where we need to strengthen. We had no clue how to answer this question for the first half a dozen games, in many ways it’s progress. RE: Blackpool - Nottingham Forest - wassy04 - 07-01-2023 In mitigation, when you have 10 players that have barely played in the last 3 months, they are never going to be as good as ones that play regularly. Not fair to expect someone to just come in and be on top of their game. That said, you also should not lose 4-1 at bottom of the championship that also made changes! Some of them didn't look interested. I felt sorry for Surridge who struggled badly in front of goal. Obviously a confidence striker and probably time we send him on loan where he can rebuild. Although that would only leave us with 1 centre forward for the rest of the season. RE: Blackpool - Nottingham Forest - ozzyten10 - 07-01-2023 Cooper - too much entitlement in our game - We won’t forget this moving on Very clear to me some of these will now be bombed… |
