RE: Wolves - Nottingham Forest - Floridared - 15-10-2022 He (Johnson)single handedly (almost) got us promoted last season, but that was last season. He has failed to step up in any game in the premier league, perhaps the championship is his level or was he just part of a very good double act with Spence and cannot produce without him. Whole team performance was dreadful, Cooper was happy to take all the plaudits when we were winning but now I've also seen enough. I've been a big supporter of him but new contract or not, he , dare I say it, has to go. There, I said it.... RE: Wolves - Nottingham Forest - willdared - 15-10-2022 3 penalties given against us this season so far.. all for handball.. can someone tell our lads they can't use there hands please. RE: Wolves - Nottingham Forest - wassy04 - 15-10-2022 I get Brennan was shit and the penalty was disappointing but come on, take him out and put someone else in, it's not going to change anything. We don't have a good team, we can't defend without playing 9 behind the ball, we can't pass out of midfield, we can't create chances. I think it's time to accept the inevitable and pray we get to 12 points. Agreed, Johnsons performance was probably the worst on the pitch but lets not forget its a team game and the rest of them are an average Championship team at the moment. I just cannot see who we are able to beat, can anyone else? RE: Wolves - Nottingham Forest - Plymouth red - 15-10-2022 (15-10-2022, 05:13 PM)Floridared Wrote:Struggling to see anything. Maybe we should just accept our fate and try and find a team that will be good enough to get us back up next season. That's the way I'm looking at it. It's what I expected before the overhaul tbf. Johnson wasn't even the worst in a red shirt. That honour went to Toffolo absolute shocking performance. How can you stand off Traore so much and just give him the freedom to do whatever he wants, thank God Traore's final ball was shit most of the time. Toffolo made Bong look like Stuart Pearce today. RE: Wolves - Nottingham Forest - Ciscokid - 15-10-2022 I can't figure the tactical thinking that sets us deep along the edge of our box virtually. Even free kicks on the halfway line for us are played square and then back. Last year we pressed much higher forcing the opposition back to give us a chance of winning the ball. Now just set back deeper and deeper demanding that they attack us. Even poor sides like today and Villa will score with this plan. Where has it come from? We have no chance of staying up unless this changes and we set out to attack the opposition. RE: Wolves - Nottingham Forest - ozzyten10 - 15-10-2022 I fear for cooper after this - he sounds defeated today… Lodi and Aurier injured LOB ill We need something to change… Wolves were shot too and we should have had a point out of that. Our players are not good enough to press higher it appears. Only conceded two goals in two games, that's a big improvement... RE: Wolves - Nottingham Forest - ozzyten10 - 15-10-2022 Nothing wrong with the low block away from home in the premiership. Brennan Johnson is a good player but needs a rest after today. His penalty wasn’t great but a good save - I just think he has lost his mojo a bit. RE: Wolves - Nottingham Forest - stefanduma - 15-10-2022 It was dire, all round and yes Cooper looks and sounded like a dead man walking. I also heard we had a 72% pass accuracy, that's dire. I think I will take a week out and hopefully it will all have been a bad dream. |
