Just need to pick up on some of the Zinc criticism.
1. He created both chances for Yates in the first half;
2. He picked out Djed in space for his goal
3. It was Zinc’s shot that was saved by Marshall for the corner that Yates scored from.
He’s not there to be constantly the star of the show, he’s there to provide odd moments of magic that others can’t do. Tonight he created three/four such moments

Positives
-Another come from behind win.
- Jonno return to form after a brief lull
- Figs attitude excellent. Did well on a nightmare pitch so can forgive him the slip.
- Lolley and Cafu giving manager food for thought.
- Had to go in legends lounge, so saw all 4 goals close up.
- Goal machine Yates with another.
- Great football at times, thought Zinc was instrumental in lots of our good stuff.
Negatives.
- Worried about potentially having lost 3 of 1st choice back 5 for Scouse visit.
- Got a bit wet on way to game.
- Beef was a bit tough in pre match meal.
Love this team......

Good win, under difficult conditions - those difficult conditions being a crap ref, rain, waterlogged pitch in areas and QPR players grabbing everyone's shirt and falling over if they got the slightest touch.
1st half was very under par. A few players needed a kick up the backside.
2nd half, thats better......thats how we need to play all the time.

If Carvalho had done all of the above last night UN, some would've been creaming about what a magical touch he's got yadda, yadda, yadda!
Zink does drift in and out of games and he does misplace passes. But so did Carv and some worshipped him for it. What is the difference with Zink? No hefty price tag around his neck for one thing!

Number 10's do drift in and out, that is the nature of the game.
They receive the ball in advanced positions and are rapidly closed down and tackled.
When playing at the pace Forest do, the time and space on the ball reduces even more.
The question is how big is their impact when in.
The difference wit Carvalho:
Zinc has significantly higher energy levels and work rate than Carvalho.
Is stronger on the ball.
Operates more effectively in wide areas.
Carvalho never did what Zinc does.

I think your assessment of the 1st half is harsh mate. I thought we did ok once the game had settled down after about 15 minutes or so. We just didn't manage to score and they got one (against the run of play). I said at half time if we could get a goal we could easily go on and win it.

Excellent 2nd half, didnt think we were too bad 1st half either but QPR had some decent chances, as said conditions were dreadful, the ball was holding up especially down the wings.
Thought Zinc had a good game too, Spence was unbelievable, can see him going to one of the top clubs he is that good, Yates continue ps to be a goal machine. Mention to Cafu who continues to look impressive when he gets on, great presence of mind to flick the ball back to Johnson when his shot was saved.
Lovely to see Warburton talking about fine margins in his post match interview.
