I doubt he would have breached his fiduciary duties to Barnsley prior to that date.

What we saying then. Six weeks, eight weeks and this is the man responsible for the current debacle. Who is responsible for the run of 2 wins out of 14 at the end of last season or the pathetic goals return last season and tirgid performances in every game last season. Are we seriously saying Murphy is accountable for this mess in the few weeks he has been employed at the club. I can’t believe anybody seriously believes that.

SL was 41221 essentially rather than 4231.

MoN was shafted. Shabbily treated. And the hubris of last season and the season ending before it came home to roost. Looks like the club backed the mediocre recruitment instead of a true reds legend who would have taken us through the pain barrier and through the other side. Instead? We're seeing the light too late, again. Sure the football would have been pugilistic. But this is the Championship. And we don't have parachute payments. He got little time. Half a season is nothing. Again. no Summer recruitment. He didn't get to have one! Shocking treatment.
And Hughton might be next. Two Summers. And how many permanent signings has he made?
Both have the ignominy of being poorly backed when almost all the other pretenders had a raft of players at their disposal (and still got disposed of in the end.)
When we get good managers or they get into good positions? We don't back them. Hart. Davies with the whole LB saga.
