Hardest attempt at staying up under the current circumstances while being back im Prem

Totally avoidable but here we are.

I agree with you actually and will praise him to the hills if he keeps us up. At the same time I won’t get on his back if things don’t work out because he has been dealt a bad hand. At some point the club needs to realise the incumbent manager is not the sole problem.

Not sure where the astute tactician bit comes from, certainly not from Wolves fans but again he had a very poor team to work with. Im pretty sure last August nobody would have dreamed Pereira would be in charge now but here we are.

Am I the only one on this forum wondering why we are rushing (24 hours) a new appointment, this is the same as the last two managers, where is the considered thought process reviewing other possibilities. Spuds have drawn up a list as long as your arm of good potential guys that are available now and will make an appointment next week so I understand.I have to assume that EM's word is gospel but Edu will have made this appointment and carry the can if it goes tits up, here we go again!!!!!!!

We are not in the same league (not literally, obviously) as Spurs.

Huge London club, established in Prem for decades.

I’d also suggest that the reason we would want someone in quick is the fact we will have got rid of Dyche and his coaches. Whereas as, yes Frank has gone, but Heitinger and others are still at Spurs taking training etc whilst they fond the new manager.

Also, if we are going to transition to 3-4-3 and play that formation we will need to get that drilled in asap

Any decent manager WANTS to coach in the PL saimilar to players but only 20 will get the gig at anytime so I dont see your point regards Spurs and London based. Lots of quality guys out there looking for this opportunity, but we never seem to open this up to the field, EM says who he wants in his little black book and thats it. Not having a go at the big man here but I dont think Edu has a say and will probably be the scapegoat if it goes tits up, in any event he looks an unhappy man at present and will leave by (mutal) agreement end of the season.

Wasn't we linked with Igor Tudor and some were not impressed, he's gone to Spurs as interim. So that's not happening at least

Time to put this thread on ice, until the end of the season hopefully.

Where has that been reported as its not on the Forest website yet or on Sky sports

I see Paddy Power have stopped taking the piss out of Tottenham for a minute and made a video about us instead. Its a sort of fame and no such thing as bad publicity. You can see how we are perceived by the wider football world though.

Serious question.

Do people really care what other fans think of us?

Personally I couldn't give a damn.

Most of them would love to be us.
