Can I just be clear, Ive called out Nuno yesterday and I think he has made a few suspect decisions recently but that does not mean I want him gone. Seems thats how social media works sometimes.
Same goes for EM, he was clearly frustrated but that doesnt mean he wants Nuno out or that his relationship with him is finished.
Edit hang on just read what Sniffer said on the other thread about lip reading EM! Oops.

I’m hoping that now the pressure of getting into Europe is off we will relax a bit and maybe win our next two games. Not necessarily for CL, but so we don’t end the season in relegation form.
I obviously don’t know but I’ve always suspected that EM regrets not firing Cooper at the end of the first season in the Prem and letting him continue into the second.
Is it possible he looks at our current form and thinks ‘ not making that mistake again’
Previous rumours suggest the special one would come by if we were more stable and he was a favourite of Em. Well we’re guaranteed at least 7th and we’re in Europe, that’s as stable as you can get.
Then there’s the Saudi rumours.
Hope it isn’t this but yesterday didn’t feel like it should’ve done.

TBH I am not convinced another manager could have got this squad any higher than wherever they are going to finish.
He also took Wolves to two 7th place finishes.
He is a very good manager

Obviously it would be incredibly harsh for him to leave and he deserves to lead us into Europe regardless. He's done a fantastic job and we would never have expected to be here this season.

Indeed. I think it’s also worth remembering the quality of squads/teams above us, it simply isn’t a level playing field. Absolutely no shame in finishing behind the six teams above us and that may yet improve.
I would like to see what Nuno can do if he had more game changers to come in off the bench.

100%, I don't think anyone would've said we're the 7th (or higher) best team at the start of the year.
Nuno got us here through an effective style of football that brought us a number of close wins. Can that style take us any higher/can Nuno develop the style to be dominant will be the challenge next season.
You could argue that for all the attacking football that Brentford, Bournemouth, Fulham even Palace play we've comfortably finished above them with a similar quality of squad so who's to say Nuno's style isn't the most effective out there.
Teams have won titles playing this way so with a better squad maybe it is possible we could finish even higher!

Nuno only wanted signings in Jan if they were better than what we had.
Wissa was one he wanted, but financially Brentford wouldn’t sell in Jan other than for crazy money.
I think we will really push on this summer with some elite level signings.
