Staying in the PL > Cooper
NFFC > Marinakis > Cooper
He is definitely not immune from criticism either. Just that there is more to it than simply changing manager and hoping for a miracle. Certainly hiring a 57 year old with zero experience of managing in this country doesn't to me sound like the stuff of miracles.
We do have to get at least 4 points from the next 2 games, that is a given.

For those that think a change in manager is some miracle cure, I'm not really sure what you're expecting anyone else to do differently. Aside from picking players that are now fit that weren't previously, we're not exactly inundated with great alternative options. The back 4 won't change, could switch to a back 3 again but then we're short on CBs. MGW, Jonno will be in attack, someone else will join them, Yates Kouyate if fit and one more in midfield in some capacity. That's it.

Because they're not better players, we have the 18/19th best team in the league before injuries. That's what happens when you have to buy a team from scratch.
Also, this might be controversial but has anyone actually looked at the table recently. We're still 16th despite our recent run of results, with three winnable games coming up. We're not even in the relegation zone and people are acting like it's over!
I ment from last season, unless you think lowe is better than Lodi, and zinck better than mgw ha.
He made average players in the championship better,
But this season he hasn't made many better, we brought in a goalscorer from Germany, and it took him up to 3 games before his Injury on where he is best used, or how to use him..
Still backing him, but he needs to realise what he has in front of him

Wassy, I think what Sniffer is trying to say is that if and it's a BIG if, we change manager with a different mindset, how we play the game, and pick different players from the squad, then we may get a positive reaction. Having said that I hope SC can do this but he has to get on with it now as games are running out, tick-tock!

Just like coops did with hughtons lot, sometimes to the coach just doesn't suit the players style etc etc etc.. just sadly this time it's happened to a good coach and not a bad one

Cooper not immune from criticism. Our current form is poor and away form horrendous and our fate will be decided in the next few games.
However pressing the panic button now seems totally illogical and will not change anything.
Agree with Wassy that some people seem to think because we signed a load of players for £10m they are all world beaters. They aren’t and most are mediocre at best at this level.
Our opponents are world class players week in week out, this talk of hammering other teams is utter nonsense.
We have proved we can hold our own at times and thats what we need to go back to what we were doing. For me that means not playing the slowest striker in the premier league and a clumsy midfielder who tries a hollywood pass every time he receives the ball. If we can get Taiwo back and firing still think at full strength we have a chance.

Not saying we should do it but I don't buy this we have the 19th best squad in the league business.
Another coach could have this squad around 10th place, would that then mean that we have the 10th best squad in the league. It's not always down to the players sometimes it's down to coaching and tactics.
