Well i personally don't think they will as the premier leagues case seems pretty air tight for the breach. The only real question is how did the panel come to ten points? If they used a calculation then surely that calculation will now be the basis for all other breaches.

The Everton fans seem to think they will get 4pts back but I’m not sure they have any leg to stand on tbh

The rumours coming out of Everton are gathering force, would guess verdict could be today before someone unofficially leaks it.
They seem increasingly confident of at least some points back, some rumours of all 10. To be honest it’s probably good news for us if they do.

I've had a quick look at there forum and the majority are confident they will be getting points back but with no real reasoning other than it was an unfair punishment and the fact they have a KC leading the appeal.
They blame COVID and the Ukraine war for excessive loss of monies and the PL being corrupt.

I think the big clubs underestimate fan power- as they did with the backlash about the European Super League a couple of years ago when even the fans from the north west revolted about the idea and they had to back track. It’s still the game for the ordinary man. Make it too elite and fans will walk away.

Difficult one. Ideally for me Everton get 4pts back with 6pts standing because they exceeded the limits over several years despite being given several chances/warnings and a plan to work too. Then they get 6pts deducted for the latest breach given it is their second time. We either then get nothing because we have fully complied with what the PL led us to believe was ok or at worst get a 6pts suspended deduction and slap on the wrist for being our first offence.

Everton were given a year to sort it out.
They didn’t and were punished the next season.
It’s a precedent, for which we should receive the same latitude.
If not, then EM will surely go to war.

Certainly hope so in terms of the precedent and being allowed time to sort ourselves out which with BJ and Mangala sales plus a few others we have already shown we are doing.

Big game this Monday night coming up as well Everton at home against Crystal Palace. a draw is best for us of course unless Everton got their points back.
