RE: Nottingham Forest - Queens Park Rangers - optimistic_red - 22-02-2020 I don't think Sow missing was the difference. Ameobi being replaced by Yates wasn't what was needed today. Anyway we are still well placed, onwards. COYR. RE: Nottingham Forest - Queens Park Rangers - Salvatore Matrecano - 22-02-2020 We stopped creating chances when Ameobi was swapped for Yates. Diakhaby looked very poor again but sorry to say it looks too soon for Mighten yet. Suffice to say we didnt create anywhere near enough against a very average team. RE: Nottingham Forest - Queens Park Rangers - the jock - 22-02-2020 I'm sorry but chasing a game we should have better experienced players than mighten to try impact the game. Sow is another jack Hobbs. Cant build a team around that. It was very flat. Grabban has lost his spark. RE: Nottingham Forest - Queens Park Rangers - Maltared - 22-02-2020 We need to win at least one of the next two games or we will drop off the play off places ... if this happens it will be us chasing the pack...do we have the players fof that? RE: Nottingham Forest - Queens Park Rangers - Username - 22-02-2020 Very dull game today, QPR never looked like breaking us down with their best two shots from set pieces. It was the right decision to rest Sow, I was just surprised to see Diakahby start. I was disappointed to see Yates to come on for Ameobi who put our best balls into the box throughout. I can’t believe anyone is defending our January transfer business. We have no options. RE: Nottingham Forest - Queens Park Rangers - Joe Baker Legend - 22-02-2020 the disallowed goal, it doesn't roll out of the quadrant area, it rolls further in! Fractions and very technical but i'm going to study it again and see if the ball had actually stopped moving just prior to being kicked. I know we have had some freak sort of luck, maybe like the Watson 'tackle' against Luton which resulted in a goal, that looked an obvious foul but last few games it is starting to hurt now. Officials will make a fuss about something trivial and no threat or malicious or anything but forget their main objective is to protect the players, they aren't doing their jobs just ruining the game. I thought the players all did ok, don't like us giving away professional fouls and hate the number of fouls on our players after riding a challenge with skill and getting pulled down. Thinking of reporting some of this stuff to Crimewatch. RE: Nottingham Forest - Queens Park Rangers - wassy04 - 22-02-2020 Need to start changing our tactics more at home when we're not looking like creating chances. We seem to have been found out at home. I'd like to see 442 second half in that situation RE: Nottingham Forest - Queens Park Rangers - Salvatore Matrecano - 22-02-2020 On the positive side I thought Silva played very well alongside Watson. Didnt look like we were missing Sow and Silva linked up the forward players nicely. Which for me was were it all went wrong when Yates came on. OK then, does anyone know who actually disallowed the goal? The ref gave it. The linesman Im fairly sure didn’t flag straight away because Worrall and co are over there celebrating right where the linesman was standing. So who suddenly decided to disallow it? The 4th Official ? Did the QPR left back have a chat with the linesman who went Oh alright then? Feel a bit robbed looking at the replay. The ball was moving when he hit it. It was the correct decision. Unlucky but if it were them that'd scored we be pissed. RE: Nottingham Forest - Queens Park Rangers - Salvatore Matrecano - 22-02-2020 But both officials gave the goal initially? Who changed their mind? |
