Height from corners- despite the fact he has scored two headers for us!
RE: Nottingham Forest - Crystal Palace - zicorice - 01-04-2024
Finally got round to watching playback ...ouch. Will keep it brief.
Positives
- New museum is class.
- Out of bottom 3
- Chris Woods finish
- Finally getting some luck.
- GK looked decent today (good job)
- Only conceded 1
Negatives
- Outplayed over course of game.
- The "bring the noise" calls were gone after their goal. (I get it about players need to give us something, but never forget the impact our support had last season when we were up against it).
- Many reasonable people having doubts over Nuno. Myself included (there, I've said it). I want him to suceed, I want to sing his name, but jeez Nuno pick a team based on form at least.
- Many fans have (from a pretty wide choice tbf) decided on their scapegoat and are destroying Sangare. It's got to that point of every mistake is being highlighted and greeted with abuse/groans/boos in the ground and dogs abuse on line. That fee is a millstone.
I said 2 points in these 2 games takes us clear of Luton (who are actually worse than us) and sets us up for the run in. Everton seem to want to join the bottom end party too. I reckon in this sh1tshow of a season 27 points will keep someone up. Just hope it's us.

Outplayed? We were way better than them in 2nd half.
RE: Nottingham Forest - Crystal Palace - Simon - 01-04-2024
pleased that Sels played well - about time a keeper put in a decent shift for us hopefully will grow in confidence going forward.

Apart from the goal how many clear cut chances did we create. How many did Palace create. We forget they also had three of their best players missing and were on a dreadful run of form. We were very poor on saturday.

Palace missed 1 big chances and that was Sels save in first half they hardly created more than us did they.

So we can agree neither team created anything and a draw was fair. Cool.

Think we were lucky tbh. We scored a half chance they scored 1, forced out keeper into 2 good saves (Eze should have put 1st one away really) plus hit post and Eze missed one 2nd half wide of upright.
We created 1 other possible chance for Wood, rest of time was long range efforts.
We had plenty of possession but barely troubled keeper.
Outplayed where it matters.
1st half nothing stuck up top (Wood is not a back to opposition type of strikerer tbf) and Origi was woeful. Eze was class. Yatesey had a huge off day too.
A good point gained in circumstances.
