Totally blew wba out the water. Even allowed us to take the time to protect some of our players as we face a intense run in with more games in a short period of time compared to the others in the play off's. All about staying injury free over the next few weeks as we only need 4 points to guarantee our play off spot l, think second has gone but was always a long shot.

Cannot get over how bad West Brom were and the wages of that team must be staggering. The least disciplined team performance I have seen this season first half and overall they were relegation level bad.

No doubt about pen, but 2 fairly soft/daft bookings for sending off. The throw in decision was bizarre for 2nd. If I remember correctly we should have had a corner just before Colbacks worldie but given as a throw.
Thought ref was poor all first half for both teams, we just made it count for us.
After Luton we deserve a bit of luck. However Bruce was honest enough to say that they probably would have lost, (words to that effect) but sending off and pen were what changed the game compounded by 2nd goal.
Pen was clear so at 1-0 up I'm 99.9% sure we'd have still won just not so easily maybe.

Completely agree. They were very bad. They came without any believe of getting a result and when things went against them they lost it.
As you say, their wage bill will be staggering. I'd like to see a sustained period of mediocrity for that club. They've been punching above their weight for quite a few years now off the back of parachute payments.

To be fair red card and 1-0 down away after 10 minutes, they were always struggling. It was a baffling decision to handball it though, certainly not a soft red card, if anything he probably should've got a straight red for making a save like a keeper!

The lad who belted the ball into the crowd probably should have had red too. Definitely seen red given for that before reckon they ref took pity because they were already a man down.

I was impressed with Surridge, different style of player to Davies but he had one chance and he took it.

Yeah agreed and the fact he was young too probably helped him. Was obviously aiming for the boards but still he could've really hurt someone who wouldn't have been expecting it

It was nice to see our players pile in on their lad after to fight in solidarity for the fan(s) affected. The club and supporters really are united atm.

Also, thank f**k we never appointed Steve Bruce, he really didn’t have a clue how to deal with going down to ten men and doesn’t seem to have the players onside

He's a caretaker manager though atm. Bruce gets a bad press but he can build a squad. He's done it countless times. If West Brom take him next season and back him I'm sure their side will be a lot different to what we saw last night.
But watching the game back last night & seeing how his team was managed and then hearing Warnock bleating on in the studio, it was quite obvious that the pair are now yesterday's men. Young coaches like Cooper are moving the game on with modern football and player management.
