SC has already stated he would much prefer to have his own players, not doing other clubs favours RE: Keinan Davis - Salvatore Matrecano - 10-02-2022 There is a balance for sure I think we are too dependent on loans right now, dont need another January where we are waiting hoping someone wont be recalled. There is still the potential nightmare of facing Boro in the play offs and Spence not being able to play. But realistically it is a way of getting in players like Zinc who we wouldn’t be able to afford to buy outright. RE: Keinan Davis - McDurban - 10-02-2022 Like our other loanees he WANTS to play for the club. You can see it in all of them. They love the badge and the fans. RE: Keinan Davis - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 11-02-2022 Dare I say that Grabban's injury is perhaps a blessing in disguise. Davis has been sensational. RE: Keinan Davis - ozzyten10 - 11-02-2022 I see what you mean but Grabban is a loss - his experience and finishing will be missed at some stage. RE: Keinan Davis - ac_vodka - 11-02-2022 yeah be nice to have all 3 but at least he will be available for the run in over April/May RE: Keinan Davis - Salvatore Matrecano - 11-02-2022 Yes as good as Davis has been he is a very different type of player to Grabban, there are times when you need that instinctive finisher and a wise older head. I really hope he is back at the end of the season but I believe its a nasty injury with no clear time frame on it. RE: Keinan Davis - JollyLolly - 11-02-2022 Sniff, if you care to look back to the last day of the transfer window. I did remark that Grabban's injury would open the door for a new striking hero, many on here disagreed and though that the loss of our top scorer was the end of our promotion chances this season. I think we now look a much better balanced team with Grabban OUT of the side at present plus more goal scoring opportunities being created but not necessarily taken as per the Blackburn game, but we have scored 6 in the two games that he has since missed! RE: Keinan Davis - McDurban - 11-02-2022 With every CF everything is dependant on the style of play. Davis slots right in. He is a very well researched player who was brought to the club for a specific role. I feel the same applies to Surridge who, when he settles down is going to deliver for the team. You can see his direct running already in 30 minutes on the field. |
