He did take Burnley to 7th one year didn't he, something like that?
I hope he does really well, wins a cup and proves he can use better players to be more progressive than previous hoofball iterations.
And if he does do well, he has a right to expect to be allowed to continue into next season.
But as I said a few pages back, even if he won the Europa and we finish top half, could you see him keeping his hand on the tiller for a Champions League campaign when the likes of Silva, Ireola, Glasner and a clutch of young coaches may be out of contract or eyeing the role in the summer?

There was quite a few spells where we looked pretty good under Ange. We could just never take the chances when on top. Always a problem when your liable to collapse at the first sign of pressure/a set piece.

Welcome Sean Dych, I for one will get behind him as the new manager, I really cannot see what all the fuss is about, as long as he gets to keep us up, that is all I'm bothered about...and some stability and he gets us back to being hard to beat and gets the player's motivated to get some points on the board and up those leagues, not much to ask ... :Funny:

Given the only England international he'd previously worked with was Jordan Pickford I'm going to say yes, by some distance too.
His previous best teams being either the Burnley team (woth Wood, I think) that he took to 6th (ish) or Everton team that he had around 6th except for the fact they had a massive points deduction.
I actually think he'll really like the core of the squad from last year. Neco, MGW, Anderson, Wood are all the exact type of player he likes. Players with talent that are exceptionally fit and work harder than average. Sure, some are a bit flawed in output but I think he will enjoy that type of player.

Also worth noting he has watched A LOT of our games since he lost his job at Everton. Been sat in and around the directors box on a number of occasions so probably knows more about the team than most fans!

Ange took training the day he was announced im sure he was there today, judging by how happy all the players were in training it looks like he was there. The coaches didn't look like the old ones ether
