I don’t think it would apply to the FA cup but not 100% on that

Pretty sure yellows do not carry over to the FA cup, they definitely don't from premier league.
As for Jack he has 10 yellows but 2 of them were in one game where was sent off vs Luton and has already served a ban for that game. Not sure on the rules for that?

So if Colback is going to be out too (not sure) then Yates won't be able to drop back to replace Cook like he replaced Worrall earlier in the season. Looks like Figs could get his chance, don't think Cooper would throw Panzo in and Soh seems to have disappeared.

Do FA Cup and EFL Cup yellow cards count in Premier League?
As of the 2019/20 season, yellow cards in domestic competitions only count for the specific competition they were awarded in.
If a player received yellow cards in two consecutive FA Cup matches then they would miss their sides next FA Cup match but the ban would not apply to the EFL Cup or Premier League. The same rules apply for yellow cards awarded in the Premier League or EFL Cup towards the FA Cup and each other.
In the cup competitions, all yellow cards accumulated are wiped after the quarter-final stage and players can not miss the final due to accumulating yellow cards.

As far as I can see you are allowed up to 14 bookings by game 38 (4 to game 19 and 9 to game 32). So he is not in any trouble for 10 cards now as there are still 3 more games to go before be hits 15.
The current rules this season stipulate that any player accumulating a certain number of yellow cards will face disciplinary action in the form of match bans. It works on the following principles:
Five yellows accumulated before match week 19 results in a one-match ban.
Ten yellows accumulated by week 32 will result in a two-match ban.
Fifteen yellows by week 38 means a three-match ban.
Twenty yellows in a season can result in the Regulatory Commission punishing the player in a manner that they deem to be most fitting.
Generally, the suspensions laid out above refer to league matches only, not tournaments.

According to bet365 stats Colback is only on 8 yellows currently, so I guess his double yellows that got him sent off didn’t count like has been theorised

Huge blow. But then again, I thought the top 6 chances were over when Grabbs went off against Cardiff, so I'll trust in Cooper & the squad. Rubbish news though.

Guess it could have been worse.
Both will miss around 7 league games.
Figs, Laryea, and Panzo now need to step up
