Are you counting the two losses to Man Utd in the league Cup in that form? Come on, what's the point of that. The second leg we didn't even play a full team and took out our best players at 60 mins.
Yes wassy i am. You and I may be able to simply right those 2 games off but there will be an effect on the player's confidence. Losing eats away at confidence.
I'd say players confidence would be improved after a good display from starting line up at Old Trafford.
Guess we will see today.

I meant confidence may nosedive if we lost today nffc93. But to apply my logic, today wasnt a glossy performance but we got the win. The performance will be quickly forgotten but the win will be enough to recharge the confidence battery.

Just reflecting on today. What a massive win this game was. Apart from looking solid at the back we played poorly really but to get a win, against the run of play against a rival, and with a patched up side, was immense. The football gods are really treating us favourably atm.

Leeds have got two games against Man U next. Lose both of them and they're right in trouble.

I didn’t want to be looking at away games because form has been so diabolical but the games where we may pick up the odd point are
West Ham
Villa
Brentford
Palace
We seem to have played most of the teams at the bottom away already.
After our game on 6th May vs Southampton we have
Chelsea away
Arsenal home
Palace away
In other words I want to see us with 38 points at 5pm on 6th May.
