They've got the effects mics out which they dont normally do for championship games. Sounds ok to be fair. RE: The Championship 2021/22 - Salvatore Matrecano - 10-08-2021 Stoke look do be doing some decent transfer and loan business, on paper at least. Stoke and Boro would be my 2 dark horses to crash into the top 6 plus Luton to finish comfortably top 10. RE: The Championship 2021/22 - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 16-08-2021 The Championship attendances this weekend: Nottingham Forest - 25,045 West Brom - 23,283 Middlesbrough - 22,004 Swansea - 15,946 Huddersfield - 15,126 Barnsley - 13,961 Millwall - 12,490 Reading - 12,156 Blackpool - 11,393 Hull - 10,728 Birmingham - 10,189 Peterborough - 10,177 RE: The Championship 2021/22 - Salvatore Matrecano - 16-08-2021 Some really poor crowds there all round, same last weekend. Doubt we will top 20,000 on Wednesday evening either, lots of empty seats at the CG on Saturday and no shows which I assume is people on hols. Is it Covid worries, people getting used to watching on TV, the knowledge that the Championship is getting as predictable as the PL or all 3? Doubt we will top 20,000 on Wednesday evening either, lots of empty seats at the CG on Saturday and no shows which I assume is people on hols. i have been concerned about the football league as in the product and the value for a while going to games is not straightforward, i considered the Coventry game but it took a long time for them to put information up and eventually tickets for sale, even then you can't just click and buy you have a membership thing, basically alot of information input just for a ticket, then they have a train station right outside the ground but serious disruptions due to track maintenance and the train tickets is also complex, you have to be careful planning your journey, basically was much easier to watch on the telly, also the coventry stadium is built in one of the most depressing, oppressive and run down areas with an unfriendly feeling about it, lack of boozers and broken communities, yet they will probably be more enthusiastic and potentially supported than many others regards our games, if that Bradford game had been a tenner on the gate i would of gone, the ticket office experience is protracted and tedious with Forest i've ticked all the boxes now for every update, offers, partners, the lot but suffice to say, since the potential of moving the streaming and everything in house, i haven't had any emails from the club, besides a receipt for me £5.99 a month audio subscription the club seems to disappear during close season, the marketing department needs a makeover, there will be some games that can be streamed but very little effort and for me no information, i'd be interested to see the odd academy game or womens game or cup replay or summat, i don't think they have made enough effort the post match coverage is very good, i can see all the games now or extended or reduced highlights and the 'other angle' stuff, but none of this generates any revenue and it's difficult to watch a loss another niggle i have is the refereeing, that challenge on mighten from behind v Cov, that was gbh imo, ok he only meant to flatten the lad and the stamp on his ankle was accidental, but the game favours cheating and negativity imo RE: The Championship 2021/22 - Jon Moss - 16-08-2021 (16-08-2021, 07:42 AM)Sniffer Dog Wrote: The Championship attendances this weekend: This week we had the best home attendance and last week we had the best away attendance. Just imagine if we were actually any good. RE: The Championship 2021/22 - Salvatore Matrecano - 16-08-2021 I agree SL. There are so many of our fans that the high point of their Forest supporting lives is a promotion from L1 or even worse staying up on the final day a few years back. I see youngsters coming along and wonder if they have either been bribed by their dads or forced there under duress. Anyway good on us all, one day just maybe we will see something worthwhile again. RE: The Championship 2021/22 - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 12-09-2021 Christ just had a sneaky glance at the table we really need that win today. RE: The Championship 2021/22 - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 12-09-2021 We are well and truly in the brown stuff. I can't bring myself to look at the table again. |
