Thats why I highlighted “replays later emerged” from the text. Its a fact that seems to have been completely airbrushed from the review panle and we are meant to just swallow it. Fuck VAR.

Ruined the game. But let’s be clear, video assistance should have been a no brainer to fix obvious errors. But the implementation and use by the officials is an absolute disgrace. Whilst I agree with the sentiment to ‘fk VAR off’, it’s actually PGMOL who need to fk right off.

I agree with Stirred, its used perfectly well in other sports, Rugby being the prime example yet despite their now being 11 people in the VAR room they still cant get it to work properly.
"Clear and obvious" was the rule, if they stuck to it that would be fine, is he clearly and obviously offside? did it clearly and obviously touch his hand etc.
