We do seem to be the but of a joke for a lot of accounts

Can't imagine Marinakis is going to lose much sleep over what Football Twitter thinks.

Give a shit. Don't read it. That simple

If anyone is worrying about what anonymous people on the internet are laughing at then real life perhaps isn’t for them

People are going to talk. It's ultimately down to Ange to prove his critics wrong and if he doesn't he'll be looking for a new job.

I am cautiously optimistic that he can do a good job for us.

Think that's the crux of it. If he can keep that willing mentality whilst taking the experience of what didn't work in that second season at Spurs and learning from it then we could be on to a winner.

If he stubbornly tries to impose his style of football on the players and doesn't change things if that doesn't work then things could get messy.

Hopefully that won't be the case.

At least ange’s remit is there progress the side to equalling 7th and above and win trophies, how long EM gives him is another guess

RE: Ange - nffc93 - 09-09-2025

I'm up for Ange. I think the players will love him. Think he'll do well.. Just a bit worried about the defence which has been our main attributes. He needs to bring in good coaches with him. The ones he jad previously are at other clubs. Hope he's got some decent support lined up to bring in.

How about at least letting the guy manage some matches before throwing the toys out of the pram?

If it all goes tits up then say whatever nonsense about being a laughing stock. Until then try actually backing the bloke.

Because I dont rate him as manager nor his style of play with our squad - I hope I'm wrong. I will back Forest of course but he will need to earn my trust. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Why don’t you rate him as a manager?

How many full games have you seen his teams play?

RE: Ange - TwoStar - 09-09-2025

From what I understand, the Spurs players loved Ange so there must be a lot more to him than meets the eye.

I always thought that in interviews he looked downcast and beaten (which he usually was ha ha).

Anyway, I'll give him a chance and sure the fans in the ground will too.

At the end of the day, we always win.

And that's absolutely fair enough. However the club appointing a manager you don't rate doesn't automatically make them a laughing stock.

RE: Ange - Fella - 09-09-2025

Will be interesting to see how he gets on now he’s lost two of his better assistants, but we’ve got to see what he can do before we jump on him
