They weren't lucky, they dominated us for 90 minutes. I'd say we were the lucky team. If they had a striker we could've lost 3 nil easily.

Everton didn't get lucky , if anything a 0-1 defeat flattered us . We were absolutely dreadful throughout. First corner coming in injury time speaks volumes , we applied no pressure whatsoever . Walk in the park for a very ordinary Everton side.

Bad day against an opponent who loves to shut other teams down. It happens.
But we have put the pressure back on ourselves, need a response next week. On the positive side every time I have doubted us this season we have done exactly that, no reason to think we will suddenly crumble.
But I would like to stop talking about Barca before we do the business vs Brentford if you know what I mean.

To an extent yes but we got things wrong. If ever a game cried out for Yates to start, it was this one. He is apain in the arse, wins free kicks breaks the game up BUT on our terms, in the opposition half. Everton did that to us today and that one is on Nuno.and his selection.
If Elanga is fit he should start wspcially as Wood was so isolated.
It is done now and we move on TOGETHER as a team not a collection of individuals.

We have lost two on the bounce on a couple of times this season but I don't think we have lost 3 consecutive matches including pre season.
