Forget all this talk about getting into Europe, when are we going to start talking about a title charge

The first time since our return we have scored in added time to win a game.

Tactics spot on for me. Contained, played tight, adapted and changed it up when we went behind.

Well done Emery for not moaning, class act. For what its worth in real time behind the goal I genuinely didn’t think penalty for Rogers. Not watched it back but heard even Steve Hodge saying it was nailed on. I am sticking to my guns nothing in it. I was however convinced the winner would be reviewed for a foul on Cash!

Anyway magnificent result, onwards and upwards.

Rogers fouled Anderson first but then it was a clear foul. So depends if you care about the first foul or not.

Offside looked pretty contentious too, seemed like a guess really.

The foul on cash is one of those that always looks soft but often get given in that area. Think it would've been harsh.

Fantastic performance.

It wasn’t a penalty.
tug on the left arm and he
a) throws his right leg out and
b) falls forward even though the tug is pulling him back.

He tried to buy a penalty and both ref and var weren’t deceived.
Bravo.
Shame about the sky ‘experts’ and shame those things are often given.

Same applies to the Elliott challenge.
It’s a man’s game so man up.
Physical contact is allowed.

Guess we’ll have to see what motd think of it, we’re due a few rubs of the green when it comes to var

I hope all the players have win clauses in their contracts! Taking fat stacks home this season

Also the EM vid, moreno is a red!

Not been able to check much social media as have been at work, was Murillo just a bit of whack that wouldn’t walk off?

Keith Hackett saying a clear penalty

Huge shoutout to Ryan Yates for finishing that playing 68 minutes given the knock he took.

Absolute leader.

Also well done to CHO, that was probably his best performance in a Forest shirt IMO

I think that's a soft pen but still a pen.

Milenkovic £12m that’s all

Just read this thread, he also says it was a clear foul in the build up on Anderson but technically VAR can't intervene for that part.

So, sounds like we got the right result regardless.

I think a few of us spoke about goals before the united game that we needed more contributions around the squad.

The last two games MGW has 2 assists and a goal, Elanga has a goal and Milenkovic has 2 in support of Wood with 1.

Anderson has picked up 2 more assists.

What a win. Had to swap tickets and set in BC lower as I was too ill to stand-up all game in A block- f@(King virus!

We deserved it. CHO at close quarters is a sight to behold, his manipulation of the ball and footwork! Wow.

Could go through whole team praising contributions and subs, but my MOTM was Neco Williams. Faultless and even put in a corker of a cross with his left foot.

Bolys 5 minute cameo was brilliant, to have a 4th choice CB that good shows how far we've come.

Offside was a bit crap, but the teams response to it was top draw.

Last 15 minutes, fresh legs and energy against a tired team (on back of Champions league game) worked a treat.

Villa fans were decent (aside from Scouse song) and a few said well done as we left. Hope they finish runners up (to us) in.league and go deep in European Cup.

Arguably our toughest test next Saturday against freescoring and currently unbelievable at home Brentford!!Hope we can get the better of BFG for once.

RE: Nottingham Forest - Aston Villa - Chicago - 15-12-2024

What a game!

Absolutely not a penalty as Anderson had his shirt pulled off him until he Pulled Rogers back. So technically the right call even though the Geordie Messi definitely tugged him hard and fouled him. Although again, first to be fouled. The VAR disallowed goal was ridiculous. He (Elanga) wasn't offside and there was no way to prove he was. That goal should have stood. CHO was brilliant in this game but the Serbian Warlord is a f*****g hero! I loved that Martinez made the save of the season only to basically bungle the header into the net. Yes it was a bullet but f*****g funny all the same. Anderson was very rough in his challenge but he got his foot on the ball and the ref played on./. Justice for the VAR goal. Villa were very decent we were bloody brilliant in the last ten minutes. MOM was Emery though for taking off the excellent Kamara which swing things in our favour. Thanks Spanish Dracula.

Chicago: Absolutely buzzing!
