I saw earlier on that Yates playing where he was wasn’t working and if he wanted a false 10 so to speak he should have started jota instead

The table shows were regressing to the mean I guess and that were probably comfortably a mid table side

Bloody hell its 2 games   if we're still on 19 points Jan1st maybe I'll start to agree with you.

One trick pony and regressing? Come on, seriously?

A couple of questions.

1. Why let MGW go with England if the injury he had prior to the international break is the reason he wasn’t in the match day squad
2. With MGW and Anderson not available why not give Silva chance in their place?

Why keep playing Elanga game after game after when he's been poor, and not giving Jota/Sosa a chance? Think Nuno keeps to his favourites. Wolves fans use to ask the same about why he always played Adama when he had no end product. Him and Elanga are quite the same of late. Offering pace and that's it

Totally agree with Jota.

We had Gibbs-White, Danilo, Sangare & Anderson out. Not only are we down to our 6th choice CM on the pitch, but it takes away options on how to set the team up, and possible changes in-match. Remember away to Liverpool when we started with 4 CM's & GibbsWhite?

Arsenal had injuries, including Odegaard, and they had a poor run of results.

Man City have injuries, including Rhodri, and they are having a poor run of results.

Forest have injuries, including GibbsWhite, but they must do better (away to Arsenal)? Seems harsh to me.

I wasn’t talking about Elanga.

I can actually understand playing two wide men away at the Emirates.

We needed a more positive option playing behind / off Taiwo IMO otherwise we can’t link up play or retain the ball enough.

It is what it is. We've put ourselves in a good position and now we are going to have to suffer a bit (except Ipswich).

1. Is there more to it than injury? Thought Nuno’s choice of words odd “he’s not in the right moment”

2. Assume the idea was to play more of a 433 with an extra midfielder? It clearly didn’t work though.

Sangare is not close to our first team so not sure it's fair to include him. Obviously missed MGW/Anderson.

Everyone has injuries though, even today Arsenal had Rice and White out. I think we've had a decent enough run so far with injuries compared to the first year in particular.

We were bad today, comprehensively outplayed. Not many were expecting us to get a result but we weren't remotely competitive. I think that was disappointing personally even without Anderson/MGW. Pressure is on next weekend now.

I heard his wording as well and thought the choice was strange. (Note - I’m not suggesting any form of conspiracy)

4-3-3 is a plausible explanation but given the results away from home, I’m surprised he went that way.

Not like they did well against Liverpool and Chelsea is it. Proven we can mix with the best already

For the stats fans, we only lost 1.4 - 0.4 on xG!
