The best thing for the prem is that we slide out the league so they can hope that the criticism ends.

We are Nottingham Forest. We come from the rebel city. What do they seriously expect?

I'm totally with the club on this tricky, as I've said in a different post I've not been so disconnected from football since I was 4, I turn 40 next month. I'm looking at it from a Premier league perspective.

I know exactly how you feel MR. I feel exactly the same. I am trying to keep an interest, but it is bloody hard work and I am struggling. I turned 63 last month and will be celebrating 50 years of going down and supporting the reds next January.

It's dark times for football at the minute. I certainly hear you. I am really struggling too. The game I fell in love with is just not the same. Football is being won and controlled off the pitch rather than on it.

It sure is. You only have to see the comments from Wolves fans last night. Many talking about being disillusioned with it all, not renewing STs or going anymore. Ok poor decisions, mistakes happen but for clubs like Wolves and us these decisions/mistakes not only come with a loss of pts they also have wider implications such as loss of revenue in terms of prize money and income if fans stop going to watch.

I drove home from Everton on Sunday feeling the same, why am I going? Why am I spending hard earned money on this? Why have I chosen to spend time away from my wife and daughter for this game? What are we getting back for this commitment? Just feeling angry, disillusioned with the game. That was before I saw the media outcry when I got home.

#nffc to discover outcome of their appeal over points deduction in the next few days. Forest have asked the Premier League to fast-track the verdict - Percy

RE: Appeal For PSR Breach - wassy04 - 29-04-2024

Massive hypothetical time but if we got two points back, then Everton beat Luton, we could be basically safe Saturday evening if we beat Sheff and Burnley failed to beat Newcastle.

RE: Appeal For PSR Breach - Mcforest - 29-04-2024

I think getting anything back would be considered a best case scenario to be honest. Remember it could go the other way and the panel decide that actually based on the information the other panel did not allocate the correct number of points against each charge and therefore we have extra taken away. Although i suspect we wouldn't have appealed if that was a high possibility of an outcome.

I would guess myself that nothing changes point wise.

That's the dream!

Quite a few ifs there though......and being this season, I fully expect us to get zero points back, Luton to beat Everton and us to shit ourselves on Saturday.

Sadly, there is no way on this planet will we get anything back. Just imagine the outcry from Luton, Burnley, Neville and Carragher if that were to happen. The PL and the Independent Commission wont want to attract anymore negativity in their direction, and wont want to be seen to be doing us any favours in staying up. I still expect them to deduct a further two points from us TBH.

Last weeks rant on Twatter could be more costly than we will ever know

They gave Everton points back and they couldn't have been more outspoken about their situation so I really don't think the statement has an impact personally.

RE: Appeal For PSR Breach - BestwoodRed - 29-04-2024

Just said on Talksport (Hawksbee & Jacobs show) that hearing a whisper of 2 points returned to Forest on appeal.

RE: Appeal For PSR Breach - Sausage Roll - 29-04-2024

That would certainly be a massive help.

RE: Appeal For PSR Breach - Simon - 29-04-2024

and also a massive piece of shithousery if we end up not getting any points back!

i don't believe anything that radio station says. it's all done to wind people up so they ring in to moan about it.

However i will not say no to 2 points back.

Think i will wait for the official announcement
