RE: Benjamin Brereton - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 19-08-2018 With all respect, why would Ben Brereton want to sign for Blackburn Rovers? I could understand him going on loan and coming back to Forest ready to replace Murphy next season. But why would he want to make a permanent move to Blackburn? In all honesty, I think he could do a lot better for himself. RE: Benjamin Brereton - Paplane - 19-08-2018 Yeah, me too but all the top clubs in the champ are now sorted for their strikers and the ffp situation doesnt allow clubs to have an expensive punt on a youngster. If he wants to play every week Blackburn may be his only option. RE: Benjamin Brereton - ThePromisedLand - 19-08-2018 (19-08-2018, 12:04 PM)Paplane Wrote: I dont like this one bit. In fact, this has me questioning AK's judgement for the first time since hes been here. Not sure this is AK’s decision - unless he has a couple of signings ready to confirm if/when B.B. leaves. Blackburn have played a blinder by waiting until PL window closed & getting a free run without any obvious competition ( unless RB Leipzig or similar come in ). RE: Benjamin Brereton - Salvatore Matrecano - 19-08-2018 PL can loan to buy too, same as Blackburn? RE: Benjamin Brereton - Sausage Roll - 19-08-2018 No, Premier League clubs can't bring players in now until January. RE: Benjamin Brereton - Salvatore Matrecano - 19-08-2018 OK thanks, didnt realise that. I think Forest would be mad to sell Bre' leaving Forest with only two obvious options. Put him on the bench vs Birmingham. Bring him on with Car' and Grabban. Let's wave the magic wand. Cash eluded in his interview the Aitor doesn't like anyone who sulks...if they're in the stand. I immediately thought of this 'Brereton Situation.' SA. RE: Benjamin Brereton - Username - 19-08-2018 Apparently Mowbray is unhappy. Sounds like we’re moving some of the goalposts. Suggestion that they are moving onto other targets but could be brinkmanship to force the deal through. RE: Benjamin Brereton - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 19-08-2018 He is a very good player with huge potential. He could have a great future with us or we could sell him later for a fortune. What an earth are we thinking about, selling him to Blackburn Rovers? It's wrong and it makes no sense. Get him on the pitch against Birmingham. RE: Benjamin Brereton - Username - 19-08-2018 Maybe it’s hype rather than potential? I would like to see him play to put the argument to bed one way or another. He didn’t score goals prolifically last season in a poor team whereas Oliveira did under Dougie. I wonder why the Club are allowing the deal to happen? RE: Benjamin Brereton - Paplane - 19-08-2018 All summer long I've been watching these fabulous new players coming in and waiting for the catch. Well this is it. The sale of our most precious talent for a 1 season shit or bust push. It's Fawazesque in the making. RE: Benjamin Brereton - Sausage Roll - 19-08-2018 I don't think we should sell Brereton, but to call it Fawazesque is absurd. |
