RE: Samba Or Horvath - wassy04 - 23-03-2022 Do we really think we'd get much for Samba? He's an excellent shot stopper and decent distribution but we all know his flaws and currently he's lost his first team place. I can't see why that would lead to much of a fee if any. Particularly if he only has a year left on his contract. RE: Samba Or Horvath - Ciscokid - 23-03-2022 My preference is for Samba. Despite his need to !earn how to stay calmer his saving, catching and distribution are superior in comparison. I think it's quite close but Brice's speed and accuracy of throws and clearances are much better than Ethan's. Often his quick throws have created attacking potential. If he has learnt his lesson from his red card and demotion I would return him. RE: Samba Or Horvath - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 24-03-2022 Horvath with almost 60% of the vote. RE: Samba Or Horvath - wassy04 - 24-03-2022 I initially voted Samba however I would now change to Horvath. So we can probably expect to see Samba next weekend! RE: Samba Or Horvath - WrexhamRed - 24-03-2022 Whilst we're on the subject of goalkeepers, this is only very slightly :off: but I didn't think it warranted it's own thread so I'll stick it in 'ere....... Lee Camp has just signed on a free with non league Wrexham AFC The England's number 1 chant didn't age too well did it. For what it's worth I think he will boss it in that league RE: Samba Or Horvath - Dog and Bear - 25-03-2022 Been thinking about this for a while and finally just voted for Horvath. He doesn't have time Pap stuck on a boat in the middle of the sea all day. RE: Samba Or Horvath - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 02-07-2022 So in the end it will be neither! Good luck to Horvath at Luton I thought he did a really good job for us when he stepped in for Samba. Long term, Samba could be a top top keeper, he is coming towards his prime and gaining in experience. He is ridiculously talented. However, this season - the here and now- Henderson is proven and significantly better than Samba. No point planning beyond this season at this stage. Henderson wage more than covered by Samba fee too, so makes financial sense in a weird way. Hopefully we only need a back up keeper for 2 games next season and that's no use to Horvath. If an experienced lad like Hennessy is that man than that's very clever too. I like the way we are heading. No doubt Henderson is an upgrade, disappointing not to get a fee agreed though. Means we'll likely be back in the market next year. Let's hope De Gea has a great season so they're willing to let Henderson go RE: Samba Or Horvath - zicorice - 02-07-2022 (02-07-2022, 10:16 AM)wassy04 Wrote:(02-07-2022, 09:32 AM)zicorice Wrote:(02-07-2022, 09:22 AM)Sniffer Dog (Admin) Wrote: So in the end it will be neither! I know what you mean about fee, but if we stay up then we will be in a great position to negotiate for a top keeper. If the worst happens, but Horvath has a great season at Luton then we are still in a strong position. Plus I believe that without the fee agreed, ManU are paying a decent chunk of the wage now. DeGae is undoubtedly one of the top keepers in the World. Henderson did well to displace him for a while a couple of years back. |
