we seem to play it backwards at every opportunity, always seems alot of unneccessary premature sideways passes when there is no pressure on the ball

been a while so looking forward to Forest scoring 4 in the 2nd half

He was urging them Forwards. What we're seeing is the 'old culture' of a year's 'work.'

He's not going to wave a wand and transform a 'safety 1st' Forest magically into 'his' Swansea. It's going to take time to change that culture. And players (a few) to change that culture.

They wanted to play football.  Or the fans wanted to see that.  Now let's see if they can do it.

I'd take a draw right now.

SC screaming at his players to be brave on the ball and turn to go forward and stop safety first passes backwards.

Keeper error?

SA.
Sort of we try to have keepers move near post if the ball is floated that way as the attacking of the ball creates that kind of striker movement.
He moved central and was flat on his feet. So unless it was right him he had no chance no matter where he headed it. It's like he didn't watch what was happening or where he was in the goal.

Keepers who command their area are good with the flight of the ball.

Keepers who stay rooted make me as nervous as those who come for it and flap.

Have they got time….it’s a results based game…if we loose this the anti Cooper faction will be out in force with the “ told you so” comments

COYR….,

If he loses a straight ten, he'll be in trouble.  Any manager will.  Sacking Hughton didn't (as I predicted) remove Forest's underlying problems.

It's tight.  There's not alot in it.  (But I said that under 'Bright start and concede' Hughton.)

Shows that you have to recruit a 'top quality' striker.  (And I'll think we'll be after a more seasoned battle general for CM.)

Just a hunch.*

I would swap him for Tommy Smith.

Wasn't he the guy that always scored against Forest too?

He always seemed to have this 'time and space' aura around him where Forest stopped and he was moving in Tommy 'Bullet Time.'
