I heard we were one of a few clubs that asked about Amorim at Sporting Lisbon but he has a huge release clause.

Some big names out of work now and I know EM will be tempted to pick up the phone but I just can't see him landing any of them just yet.

Some big names out of work now and I know EM will be tempted to pick up the phone but I just can't see him landing any of them just yet.
Lets have some stability, continuality and let Nuno carry on.
It would be far more beneficial to give Nuno a full pre-season and bring in 4-5 players to improve the squad, rather than ripping it all up and starting again. I worry that EM will be tempted by a big name and that we’ll have another massive overhaul and be back to square one with a squad that is struggling to find its identity

I’m not so sure our squad would get ripped up if a new coach came in, we have a core to build from now, which we didn’t have these last 2 seasons.

Agreed
PSR breaches and duff signings aside, we have come a long way squad-wise from the half dozen championship players we were left with after promotion.

It will be interesting that's for sure. I'd love Nuno to stay and be afforded the time to sort out the errors that have blighted our season. We're not far off being a good side.
Will be low key transfer wise this summer I'd expect as we try to comply with PSR. Loans with obligations the way forward?

I support the club through thick and thin and always will so I don’t want to seem to be putting it down because we have come on in leaps and bounds from the days of Fawaz but in premier league terms I don’t think the managers job at Forest is going to be the most attractive. We have received a lot of bad publicity this season. We finished 4th bottom and it appears to sell one of our best players before 30th June just to comply with profit and sustainability rules. I am not sure Nuno even wants to carry on never mind attract somebody better. I would take 17th again here and now for next season.

I think you are talking us down and underestimating the pull and the magic of managing Nottingham Forest. This season was not the norm, it had never happened before and it will probably never happen again.
We are entering our third straight season in the PL, we have an owner who will back his manager and we have sell out passionate crowds every home match.
What is not to like?
Having said all that and to keep the thread on track I hope Nuno will stay. If he doesn't then it certainly won't be because he thinks we are unattractive and going nowhere. Nuno is not daft so lets not insult his intelligence.
By the way he told Colin Fray last week that he has absolutey loved every minute of it.
